BOLIVIA'S RADICAL REALIGNMENT UNDER EVO MORALES
Roger Burbach considers the reasons for Bolivian President Evo Morales's decision on 1 May to nationalize the country's petroleum and natural gas resources. He says that the decision is set to dramatically reshape Bolivia's destiny and serves notice on Washington that Bolivia "is becoming part of a radical bloc of nations in Latin America that are no longer subservient to the United States".
