As of 1800 GMT on 29 June, Honduran media monitored by OSC/PA are observed to behave as follows:

Television

Tegucigalpa Channel 3 Television in Spanish -- Private television station, part of the Televicentro Group, owned by the Ferrari family: Cartoons

Tegucigalpa Channel 5 Television in Spanish -- Private television station, part of the Televicentro Group, owned by the Ferrari family: Soap operas

Tegucigalpa Channel 7 Television in Spanish -- Private television station, part of the Televicentro Group, owned by the Ferrari family: Soap operas

Tegucigalpa Channel 8 Television in Spanish -- Official government television channel: off the air since 28 June

San Pedro Sula Channel 9 Vica Television in Spanish -- Private television station owned by the Sikaffy family: Movies

Tegucigalpa Channel 11 Television in Spanish -- Television station owned by the Rosenthal family, supporters of the Zelaya administration: Soap operas (this channel was one of the few that reported on the coup on 28 June)

Tegucigalpa Channel 12 Television in Spanish -- Private television station: Music videos (this channel was one of the few that reported on the coup on 28 June)

Tegucigalpa Channel 13 Hondured Television in Spanish -- Private television station rebroadcasting Caracas Telesur and Voice of America programming: Rebroadcast of sports program.

Tegucigalpa Channel 36 Pueblovision Television: Off the air since 28 June.

Tegucigalpa Channel 48 Television in Spanish -- Catholic Church-run television station: Program on health issues.

Tegucigalpa Channel 51 Televista Television in Spanish -- Private television station: news program reporting on the coup.

Tegucigalpa Maya TV in Spanish -- Cable television station: music videos

Tegucigalpa Channel 100 Television Educativa Nacional in Spanish -- Quasi-government sponsored television station: program on agricultural techniques to grow onions .

Caracas Telesur Television in Spanish -- Venezuelan-led regional satellite channel -- claims to be "the only" television station reporting live from Tegucigalpa; says its reporters in Tegicugalpa "are running many risks" as they report live.
