Arabian peninsula returns to warring princes and tribes By The Wayne Madsen Report

Arabian peninsula returns to warring princes and tribes
By The Wayne Madsen Report
Saudi Arabia's 32-year old Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman al-Saud, fancies himself as a champion of "moderate Wahhabism," something that does not actually exist, and clean government. In fact, this fast-rising son of the decrepit 81-year old King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, was a prime motivator behind the creation of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), or "Da'esh," in Iraq and Syria, the chief architect of the genocidal Saudi-led war in Yemen, and the driving force behind the Gulf Cooperation Council's economic and travel sanctions imposed on Qatar.

Rather than being a reformer or "moderate," MBS, as he is known in Saudi Arabia and abroad, hearkens back to an age when rival sheikhs and tribal leaders vied for control over wide patches of desert lands in Arabia. MBS's ongoing coup d'état against some of Saudi Arabia's most powerful and wealthiest princes points to his determination to become an autocratic ruler over Saudi Arabia once his father, King Salman, leaves the scene. MBS has curbed the power of Saudi Arabia's dreaded religious police and allowed women the right to drive in an effort to gain popular support for his own "Salmanist" movement in Saudi Arabia, one that brooks no dissent and rules with an iron fist. MBS will use Wahhabism for his own advantage and when it is against his interests, he will not hesitate to clamp down on Wahhabist domestic clerics and foreign missionaries. Indeed, some Middle East experts see MBS’s rapid rise to power as eventually achieving the same autocratic rule over Saudi Arabia as that commanded by the founder of the modern Saudi state, Abdulaziz bin Saud, in the 1930s.

MBS's rise to a prominent role within the House of Saud began in October 2011 when Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz died. Salman, who had been Governor of Riyadh province, and, as WMR reported, a major bankroller for Al Qaeda mercenaries traveling to Afghanistan, became second deputy prime minister and defense minister in November 2011. Salman made MBS his personal adviser and with that wide portfolio, the young prince helped initiate the jihadist rebellion in Syria against President Bashar al Assad and the uprising against Muammar Qaddafi in Libya. MBS also aided his father, the defense minister, is helping to brutally crush a pro-democracy uprising in Bahrain.

In November 2012, Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Salman's brother, died. Salman was named Crown Prince and First Deputy Prime Minister. Salman basically ran Saudi Arabia's domestic affairs while his half-brother, King Abdullah, was out of the country, which was often. Crown Prince Salman's penchant for charitable contributions to poor majority Muslim countries, which was shared by MBS, saw Saudi funds flow into the coffers of Wahhabist radical groups in Somalia, Bangladesh, Afghanstan, and Sudan.

In January 2015, King Abdullah died at the age of 90 and Salman succeeded to the Saudi throne. The former chief of the Saudi Intelligence Agency, Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, was named Crown Prince by Salman. Muqrin's reign did not last long. In April 2015, Salman replaced Muqrin with his nephew, the Interior Minister, Prince Muhammad bin Nayef al-Saud. MBS was named defense minister. On June 21, 2017, in what can be described as the beginning of a "creeping coup," Crown Prince Nayef was deposed by Royal Decree. In what would portend future events a mere four months later, Nayef was reportedly held under house arrest at his palace and pressured to renounce his claim to the throne. King Salman moved quickly to name MBS the new Crown Prince.
In September 2017, MBS detained some of the top clerics in Saudi Arabia, including Salman al-Ouda, who, as being independent from the Saudi state Wahhabist infrastructure, was known to favor reconciliation between Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Al-Ouda’s two compatriots, Awad al-Qarni and Ali al-Omary, were also arrested.

Former Crown Prince Nayef is said to have remained under house arrest until MBS made his sudden move against other members of the House of Saud on November 4, 2017. Declaring the foundation of a new Saudi anti-corruption committee, MBS put under house arrest at least 11 Saudi princes, including multi-billionaire international investor and Kingsom Holding Company Chairman Prince Alaweed bin Talal al-Saud, MBS also fired and arrested the commander of the Saudi National Guard, the son of the late King Abdullah, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah and replaced him with MBS loyalist Prince Khalid Bin Ayyaf Al-Muqrin. Also arrested was the Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning Adel Fakieh, a close reform adviser of MBS. In Fakieh's place was appointed another MBS loyalist, Mohammad Al-Tuwaijri.

Many senior officials of the late King Abdullah's government are being systematically purged by MBS and his loyalists. They include Prince Turki bin Abdullah, a former governor of Riyadh province, and Khaled al-Tuwaijri, the chief of the Royal Court under Abdullah.

No coup would be complete or successful without seizing control over the media. MBS ordered the arrests of Saleh Kamal and Waleed al-Ibrahim, the co-founders of the Middle East Broadcasting Corporation, which operates the Al Arabiya satellite news network. News out of Saudi Arabia is being strictly controlled by the new MBS regime, with the international corporate media dutifully echoing Saudi government press releases as "news."

In all, some 14 current ministers, officials and businessmen have been arrested. Dozens of former ministers have also been arrested. The Saudis have not confirmed all of the identities of those arrested. MBS has ordered the bank accounts of the princes and others in Saudi Arabia and abroad frozen. Most of the detainees are being held under house arrest in the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Riyadh. MBS has vowed a complete investigation of all the detainees for corruption, a crime for which the penalty is death.

One execution may have been carried out early. At the same time MBS was rounding up princes and ministers in Riyadh, a helicopter carrying Prince Mansour bin Muqrin, the deputy governor of Asir province and seven other senior Saudi officials, crashed near Abha in Asir Province, near the border with Houthi-controlled north Yemen. Prince Mansour was the son of former Crown Prince Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, who was ousted in 2015 in favor of Salman.

Saudi official news organs reported that the helicopter carrying Mansour and his aides was returning from an "inspection tour" near the border with Yemen. However, other reports indicated that the aircraft was shot down by the Saudis after they learned it was flying to Houthi-controlled Yemen where the prince and his party had been assured of political asylum. Parallels were immediately drawn to the Chinese attack on the plane carrying Chinese vice premier Lin Biao in 1971, following an abortive coup in Beijing. Lin and his party were fleeing China and their plane was shot down by Chinese MiGs over Mongolia. MBS's coup in Riyadh has been likened to the type of leadership purge that routinely takes place in China.

King Salman went through the motions, Cosa Nostra-style, in paying his respect, in person, to deposed Crown Prince Muqrin at the prince's palace in Riyadh. Saudi press reports failed to indicate whether Murqin was even free to leave his palace in the wake of MBS's coup.

Mansour's safe passage to Houthi-controlled Yemen may have been arranged by his father, Muqrin, who was known to favor dialogue with the majority Shi'as of Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province, as well as with Iran, the Houthis major benefactor.

The role of the Trump administration and Israel in MBS's coup is an issue that is on the minds of every Middle East professional and lay observer. Trump son-in-law and Middle East special envoy Jared Kushner visited Saudi Arabia last month where he and MBS reportedly stayed up until 4 am for several nights "planning strategy." Kushner was accompanied to Israel by Trump's special adviser on Israeli matters, Jason Greenblatt. Both Kushner and Greenblatt are known to represent the interests of Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in the Trump White House.

MBS has promised Trump a military showdown with Iran and a public Saudi rapprochement with Israel. The Saudi National Guard chief was fired after he was blamed for an alleged Houthi missile attack on Riyadh from Yemen. The Saudis and Americans are blaming Iran for the attack, however, there is a belief that it may have been a Saudi false flag designed to provide domestic support for MBS's coup and further ratchet up tensions with Iran.

The power struggle within the House of Saud also affects surrounding countries. Opponents of MBS can be assured of tacit support from the Al Thani governing family of Qatar, which has its own issues with MBS over the Saudi-led boycott of Qatar.

MBS's counterpart in the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, referred to as "MZN" and who is also the deputy commander of the UAE armed forces, does not see eye-to-eye with MBS on certain issues. MBS is backing the extremely corrupt exiled government in Jeddah of Yemeni president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi against the Houthis and South Yemeni separatists. MZN, on the other hand, supports the South Yemeni independence restoration movement and has taken advantage of Yemen's civil war to extend virtual UAE control over Aden, the islands of Socotra, Abd al Kuri, Darsah, and Samhah in the strategic Gulf of Aden, and the former Mahra Sultanate in the Hadhramaut region of South Yemen.

An official of the former Sultanate of Mahra and Socotra, Sheikh Abdullah Al Afrar, has received Abu Dhabi's support in representing the mainland Mahra state and Socotra on behalf of his General Council of the Sons of the Province of Al Mahra and Socotra Island. Meanwhile, the former sultan of Hadhramaut, Ghalib Al Quaiti, who has lived in exile in Saudi Arabia, has sought a role in an independent restored Qu'aiti State in Hadhramaut or a new federation of South Yemen. The al-Quaiti royal house was apparently double-crossed by MBS and MZN when it was discovered that Saudi and Emirati funds had flowed to Hadhramaut tribal leader Abdallah Faysal Sadiq al-Ahdal, someone identified as an ally of “Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP). The royal family of the former Sultanate of Lahej, near Aden, has also been resurgent in politics, thanks to the patronage of the UAE, a federation of emirates that, unlike the sultanates and emirates of Arabia, survived the throes of British decolonization of the Arabian peninsula.

Meanwhile, the heirs of the Zaidi Imams' long-reigning Mutawakkilite Kingdom of the Yemen, overthrown in 1962, may be angling for a place in a restored North Yemen, which may be a republic or a reincarnation of the Kingdom of Yemen. The Houthis and other North Yemeni tribes, as well as those in the Saudi province of Asir, continue to hold the Imams of the Kingdom of Yemen in great reverence.

the Khalifa royal family in Bahrain is firmly in the MBS camp. The Hashemites royal family of Jordan, which has its own grievances with Riyadh, can expect to stay neutral in the House of Saud civil war. The Bin Said's of Oman and Sabahs of Kuwait would also prefer neutrality, although neither is happy with the MBS war in Yemen and the saber-rattling against Iran. The Al Rashids of Dubai have also shown a dislike for the Saudi treatment of Qatar and they have like-minded allies among the ruling royal families the northern emirates of Ras al Khaimah, Umm al Qawain, and Fujairah. Without an over-arching referee like Britain or the United States calling the shots, the political chess board on the shifting sands of Arabia has never been more unpredictable.

Sheldon Adelson, Israel behind Gulf Arab split By the Wayne Madsen Report

Sheldon Adelson, Israel behind Gulf Arab split By the Wayne Madsen Report
Casino magnate Sheldon Adelson and Israeli interests he funds are behind a series of computer hacking incidents that have resulted in a serious split between Qatar, the home of the U.S. Central Command's massive Al-Udeid airbase, and a bloc of Qatar's erstwhile Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) allies that include Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.

WMR has learned from unimpeachable intelligence sources who monitor Adelson's worldwide activities that the casino tycoon has used the neo-conservative and Washington-based Foundation for the Defense of Democracies and like-minded groups, all with close propaganda links to the Israeli government, to spread falsehoods attributed to the Emir of Qatar and the UAE government. The reason for the propaganda operation is to drive a wedge between Arab states that take a strong stand against Iran and those who maintain cordial ties to Iran.

What has led to the crucial divide between Qatar and its Arab neighbors are two hacking incidents. One was the hacking of the Qatar News Agency website and the alleged insertion of a "fake news" story reporting that Qatar's Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, told a group of Qataris in a speech that "there is no wisdom in harboring hostility towards Iran." Sheikh Tamim also reportedly had kind words for both Hamas and Lebanon's Hezbollah.

Although Qatar insisted the story was fabricated, Saudi Arabia led a group of GCC partners, including Bahrain and the UAE, as well as Egypt, Maldives, Mauritania, and the Saudi-financed puppet regime in eastern Libya and the Yemeni government-in-exile in Saudi Arabia to sever diplomatic, transportation, commercial, and military ties with Qatar. Jordan downgraded its diplomatic ties with Qatar.

Adelson and his FDD and other pro-Israeli information warfare specialists wanted to punish Qatar for not only backing Iran but also hosting in exile in Qatar the political leader of Hamas, Khaled Mashaal. The placing of a fake news story in the computer system of the Qatar News Agency and the resulting break down of relations between Qatar and its Arab partners was the first phase of the operation.

The second phase was the release of emails, allegedly hacked from the Hotmail account of the UAE ambassador to the United States,
Yousef al-Otaiba. An initial tranche of the emails were released by a previously unknown group called GlobalLeaks, which was neither connected to WikiLeaks or an Italian software company called GlobaLeaks.

Oteiba's alleged emails, which span the time period from 2014 to this year, claim that Oteiba participated in a back channel relationship between the UAE and Israel facilitated by the FDD. The emails also purport to show that Oteiba participated in an Adelson/FDD operation to tarnish both Qatar and Kuwait as sponsors of terrorism and that this effort involved not only the UAE but Saudi Arabia.

Owing to the importance of the Al Udeid airbase to US CENTCOM operations in the region, Otaiba is a frequent participant in Pentagon activities, including anti-Islamic State operational planning meetings. One of the emails attributed to Otaiba is part of an exchange between the ambassador and John Hannah, the arch-neocon national security adviser to then-Vice President Dick Cheney and a key cog in the fake intelligence, including altered and re-edited CIA analysis reports, used to justify the U.S. invasion of Iraq. The Otaiba-Hannah email exchange, which is now believed by intelligence analysts to be fraudulent, claims that Hannah complained to Otaiba that Qatar was sponsoring a meeting of Hamas in Doha at a hotel owned by the UAE. The email states that Otaiba told Hannah that the Al-Udeid airbase was the real problem in the region, adding "How's this, you move the base then we'll move the  hotel :-) ." There are 8000 U.S. military personnel stationed at Al-Udeid, along with aircraft and other war equipment.

Adelson's FDD has been behind the propaganda campaign against Qatar and it has been assisted by such bailiwicks of pro-Israeli policymaking and propaganda as The Huffington Post and George Washington University.

The emails also contain an alleged agenda for an FDD-UAE meeting to be held from
June 11-14 in which the disruption of Qatar-based Al Jazeera, Qatar's links to the Muslim Brotherhood, and dissuading U.S. companies active in Saudi Arabia and the UAE from extending their business to Iran were to be discussed. The emails claim that former U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Mark Dubowitz, the chief executive officer of FDD were to attend the June meeting. Dubowitz, a South African-born Jew who vigorously opposed the international nuclear deal with Iran and supports increased sanctions on the nation. In addition to heading up the FDD, Dubowitz also leads the FDD's Center on Sanctions and Illicit Finance.

Adelson, who was a multi-million dollar donor to Donald Trump's presidential campaign saw the presence of Trump, his Orthodox Jewish daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner in the White House hierarchy as a rare opportunity to squeeze Qatar over its relations with Iran and disrupt Al Jazeera. Trump did not disappoint Adelson or the Saudis. On the morning of June 6, Trump tweeted: “During my recent trip to the Middle East I stated that there can no longer be funding of Radical Ideology,” Leaders pointed to Qatar — look!” Against the wishes of his own Defense Department and National Security Adviser, Trump decided to weigh into the Gulf Arab split engineered by right-wing Jewish hacking efforts to declare his support for Saudi Arabia and its allies, placing the Al-Udedid airbase in jeopardy.

Furthering the dissemination of the FDD-Israeli hacking "product" were Israel's always-reliable media partners, including Glenn Greenwald's The Intercept, which also burned former U.S. Air Force and inside National Security Agency source Reality Winner by making it easy for NSA to determine the source of a leaked Top Secret Releasable to Five Eyes report on Russian military intelligence computer probes of U.S. election-related computers prior to last Election Day. The Intercept was sloppy with Winner's hard copy document by making an image of it available to NSA, which then drilled down using obscure and unique "printer dots" and paper folds to determine Winner was the leaker. Joining The Intercept in spreading the fake UAE-FDD emails and phony Qatar News Agency report were The Daily Beast and CNN, both hives of Israeli propaganda activity.

CNN and like-minded media outlets reported that GlobalLinks and those who hacked the Qatar News Agency were "Russians," the default bogeymen for all hacking events, as far as the corporate media is now concerned.

Adelson has become the "George Soros of the far right" through his media acquisitions and influence. He owns the Israel Hayom and Makam Rishor newspapers in Israel, both of which support the far-right government of Binyamin Netanyahu. Adelson's sponsorship of the FDD has expanded his reach into American newsrooms with the type of fake news stories that have split the Gulf Arab and other Muslim nations into two camps: Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Yemen, Egypt, eastern Libya state, and Maldives on one side and Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Turkey on the other. U.S. strongman Trump claimed he was going to create an "Arab NATO" prior to his recent visit to Saudi Arabia. Instead, Trump left the region in a huge pile of camel dung with himself as the chief shit tosser via his Twitter feed.

Trump's incompetence and his fealty to Adelson and his operatives, including Jared Kushner who has pushed for Adelson's picks to be appointed to senior positions within the National Security Council, State Department, and other departments, may have further repercussions in the Middle East. Two members of the UAE federation, Dubai and Sharjah, both of which have close commercial contacts with Iran, are not happy about Abu Dhabi, which holds the UAE presidency, cooperating with Saudi Arabia in isolating Qatar. In fact, Abu Dhabi and the other six UAE federation members [see above map] have never been further apart on foreign policy. Geographically and culturally, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm al Qaiwain, Ras al Khaimah, and Fujairah, in addition to the Sultanate of Oman, have closer links to Iran than do either Abu Dhabi or Saudi Arabia. The only thing that is keeping the UAE together is the fact that Abu Dhabi remains the wealthiest of the seven emirates, largely thanks to Dubai's extravagant spending habits which gave it an amazing skyline of futuristic buildings but little else except for massive debt.

To tamp down independent opinions among the "northern emirates," Abu Dhabi authorities have threatened to imprison for up to 15 years anyone in the UAE expressing sympathy for Qatar, and by default, Iran.

Taking a cue from the inter-Arab squabbling in the Gulf, the Islamic State (ISIL) launched two separate terrorist attacks in Iran. One attack struck the Iranian parliament, the Majlis, killing at least one person, a security guard. The other involved a suicide bomb blast at the Ayatollah Khomeini mausoleum between downtown Tehran and the international airport.

Although ISIL claimed responsibility for the Iran attacks, there have been intelligence reports that the group has worked with the U.S., Saudi, and Israeli-supported cult-like Mujahedin-e-Khalq (MEK), which has conducted several successful terrorist attacks inside Iran. Although once listed as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) by the U.S. State Department, congressional pressure saw it de-listed in 2012 by the Obama administration. The MEK's chief supporters are also among those who avidly support Israel. They include Senators Ben Cardin (D-MD), Bob Corker (R-TN), John McCain (R-AZ), Jack Reed (D-RI), Robert Menendez (D-NJ), Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), and Roy Blint (R-MO) and Representatives Elliot Engel (D-NY), Ed Royce (R-CA), Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), and Brad Sherman (D-CA). Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao is among those who are also strong supporters of the Iranian terrorist group, along with such neocons as John Bolton; Newt Gingrich; and Fran Townsend, the latter considered for the top FBI job by Trump. Other strong supporters of the MEK include former Secretaries of State Hillary Clinton and John Kerry.

Adelson's international activities have been under close scrutiny by two of the world's best intelligence agencies, Britain's MI6 and China's Guojia Anquan Bu (Guoanbu). From Macao and Singapore to Qatar and Abu Dhabi, Adelson has become a thorn in the side of British, Chinese, and other interests. Trump and Kushner have chosen to side with Adelson and his private intelligence operations aimed at disrupting the Gulf states and the wider Middle Eastern and South Asian region and Trump, Kushner, and Adelson will, by infuriating major international players, pay a heavy price for their meddling in dangerous sands of the Middle East.

The CIA's Saudi and Islamic State mole By Wayne Madsen Report

The CIA's Saudi and Islamic State mole By Wayne Madsen Report
There is a reason why Central Intelligence Agency director John Brennan has done everything possible to interfere with President-elect Donald Trump taking the reins of the presidency on January 20, 2017. As a mole for the Saudi royal family and a convert to Wahhabist Islam, Brennan has no desire to see certain individuals, who are well aware of his Islamist beliefs, ascend to positions of power in the U.S. intelligence community. The greatest threat to Brennan comes from retired Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, tapped by Trump to become the National Security Adviser.

Brennan the Saudi mole

High-level moles are the bane of every intelligence agency. There is still a reason to believe that the American spy for Israel, Jonathan Pollard, reported to a higher-level Israeli intelligence mole within the Reagan administration. Britain's MI-5 Security Service remains plagued to this day over evidence that its Cold War-era director, Roger Hollis, was the "Fifth Man" in the "Cambridge Five" Soviet spy ring.

It matters not that the Cold War is over when suspecting there are senior level intelligence moles in American espionage agencies. Brennan, in almost every counter-intelligence sense, fits the bill as a mole.

In 2014, Flynn was fired as director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) by President Obama. Obama was advised by Brennan to dump Flynn because the DIA director was producing intelligence policy documents showing that it was a mistake and against U.S. security interests to support Syrian jihadists who were trying to topple Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. For Brennan's Saudi and Wahhabist controllers, this was tantamount to blasphemy.

Brennan blindsided the American people by claiming the Syrian rebel forces were "moderates." Flynn countered Brennan in DIA intelligence reports by documenting how the majority of Syrian rebels were radical Islamists supported financially and militarily by Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Moreover, Flynn maintained that "Turkey was looking the other way when it came to the growth of the Islamic State inside Syria." Brennan was furious at his fellow Irish Catholic's view of Syria and the Middle East.

The Saudis had carefully groomed Brennan ever since his days as CIA station chief in Riyadh in the mid-1990s. The Saudi King, as "Custodian of the Two Holy Shrines of Mecca and Medina," arranged for Brennan, a convert to Wahhabi Islam while running the CIA's Saudi station, to perform the "hajj" pilgrimage to Mecca. Only observant Muslims are permitted to visit the Al Kaaba Al Musharrafah (The Holy Kaaba) in Mecca.

Brennan tried to keep his conversion a secret. However, after 9/11, the FBI began investigating all Saudi links within the U.S. government. What FBI agents soon discovered was that the Saudis had key intelligence and religious assets salted throughout the U.S. government and, most troubling, within the CIA. One of the key Saudi assets was Brennan.

Brennan's systematic "disposition" of his enemies

In March 2013, just prior to Brennan's being confirmed by the U.S. Senate, former FBI agent John Guandolo confirmed that Brennan had indeed converted to Islam while he was the CIA chief in Riyadh. Brennan had previously served as Obama's counter-terrorism adviser on the National Security Council. He was also in charge of the cleansing of the Obama/Dunham family passport files at the State Department in 2008 while CEO of The Analysis Corporation, a CIA contractor.

It was Brennan who helped cover up the Saudi government's role in the Khobar Towers bombing in 1996, which killed 19 U.S. servicemen. As chief FBI investigator of the bombing, John O. Neill came across hard intelligence linking the Khobar bombings to the Saudi government. While not the only reason, it was a significant reason for Brennan to set O'Neill up in a briefcase theft caper before his retirement in 2001. O'Neill had just taken the job as head of security for the World Trade Center when the terrorist plot involving Saudi Arabia brought the towers down on September 11, 2001. O'Neill was killed in the collapse. Brennan fought strenuously against the release of the 28 classified pages from the Congressional Joint Inquiry into Intelligence Community Activities Before and After the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001.

Although finally released with redactions and Brennan's acquiescence, the 28 pages, although highly suggestive of Saudi government involvement, could not be used as prima facie evidence to implicate the House of Saud. There is no reason to believe that what was released constituted the original text contained in the 28 pages. Brennan had every reason to tamper with the original pages in order to protect the Saudis, and by extension, himself.

As CIA director, Brennan would possess most of the keys to the U.S. intelligence kingdom. And Brennan's kingdom would make America's most closely guarded secrets available to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the world's chief supporter of Islamic jihadist terrorist networks, including the Islamic State, Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, and numerous others.

To placate his Saudi masters, the Jesuit-educated Brennan opted to take the oath of office as CIA director on a copy of the secular U.S. Constitution, not on the Bible, as every past CIA director, Christian and Jewish, had done. One of Brennan's first acts as CIA director was to ban the term "jihadist" to describe Islamist terrorists, preferring instead the word "extremist." As a Wahhabi Muslim, Brennan understood that "jihad" is a term used in the Koran compelling observant Muslims to maintain and spread what they consider to be the one true faith in Allah (God). For Brennan to use the term "jihad" in a negative or pejorative sense would constitute "haram" or a "forbidden act," according to the Muslim Koran and Sunnah religious texts. Brennan stated that any suggestion that the U.S. was at war with the religion of Islam was an affront to the faith, a comment spoken as a true Wahhabist believer.

Brennan's climb up the ladder

Brennan worked his way up the ladder at the CIA after his conversion to Islam. In 1999, Brennan was appointed chief of staff to CIA director George Tenet. In March 2001, as final implementation plans were being laid to carry out the 9/11 attacks, Brennan became deputy executive director of the CIA. After 9/11, Brennan was in charge of identifying, renditioning, and "terminating with extreme prejudice" anyone who could track 9/11 planning and implementation back to himself, the Saudi government, and the Israeli Mossad -- a key intelligence partner of the House of Saud. But Brennan's top mission was to ensure that a CIA asset, long groomed by Langley for the White House, was elected president in 2008. Barack Obama, who was schooled as a boy in Jakarta in the Muslim faith and whose Kenyan father was a Muslim, was the "chosen one." Obama was propelled to the national stage after the political careers of a number of Illinois politicians -- Blair Hull, Jack Ryan, and finally, Rod Blagojevich -- were trashed in a series of CIA dirty tricks campaigns.

From 2003 to 2004, Brennan was the chief of the CIA's Terrorist Threat Integration Center. While there, and later, while Obama's counter-terrorism chief, Brennan called the shots on CIA drone targets as the custodian of the "Disposition Matrix." Systematically, any jihadist who could have blown the whistle on Brennan was summarily liquidated. As CIA director, Brennan continued to use the "Disposition Matrix" to terminate potential witnesses to his selling out to the Saudis.

After Nigerian jihadist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab -- the infamous "underwear bomber" -- tried to blow up Northwest Airlines Flight 253 during its final approach to Detroit International Airport from Amsterdam on Christmas Day 2009, Brennan said U.S. intelligence agencies "did not miss any signs" that could have prevented the attempt. Brennan, again, was lying in order to cover up the fact that U.S. intelligence agents had cleared the Nigerian to board the flight without a passport by claiming he was a Sudanese refugee traveling only with refugee documents.

Abdulmutallab, known as "Farouk1986" on various Internet websites as a jihadist sympathizer, was already known to be a follower of American citizen and Al Qaeda operative Anwar al-Awlaki, a one-time consultant to the Department of Defense. On November 19, 2009, Abdulmutallab's wealthy Nigerian banker father had informed the CIA station in Abuja, Nigeria that his son had "extreme religious views" and that he was in Yemen. Brennan ignored the intelligence from Abuja and gave the green light for the young Nigerian's trip to Detroit. The underwear bomber incident gave Brennan the justification to order another drone strike.

To clear the tracks away from Brennan back to Saudi Arabia and Al Qaeda, the CIA's chief judge and executioner ordered a drone hit on al-Awlaki in Yemen on September 30, 2011, and his teenage son in Yemen two weeks later. These drone hits eliminated problems with two potential witnesses to Brennan's treasonous activities. As far as Abdulmutallab is concerned, he is permanently incommunicado as a result of a four consecutive lifetime sentence at the federal Supermax prison in Florence, Colorado.

Character assassination of Brennan's opponents in the Intelligence Community

To protect his Muslim identity, Brennan also set about to destroy troublesome opponents. Former FBI agent Guandolo was the first to receive Brennan's thuggish treatment. Information was leaked that Guandolo had, during 2005, maintained an intimate relationship with a confidential source, Lori Mody, in the federal prosecution of Louisiana U.S. Representative William Jefferson. Although trial judge T.S. Ellis III ruled the affair irrelevant to the case against Jefferson, Guandolo was forced to quit the FBI after the leak about his past sexual affairs somehow landed on the FBI director's office from Guandolo's therapist's office. Guandolo resigned from the FBI in 2009 amid a furor over his extramarital affair with Mody.

Apparently, the CIA continued to believe that breaking into psychiatrists' offices was justified even after CIA agents had been caught doing it in the case of Pentagon whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg. After Guandolo, like Flynn, began warning about the jihadist threat, Brennan went on the warpath. Guandolo was cashiered as a result of the leak of therapist files to the FBI and Flynn was fired after he was tagged by Brennan as an enemy of Islam. When asked how the psychiatrist's files ended up with the FBI, Guandolo stated simply, "it's a lot simpler than you think."

A declassified version of the DIA's Secret report on the Islamic State, dated August 12, 2012, was unambiguous about U.S. -- CIA and Obama -- support for ISIL in Syria:

“THE WEST, GULF COUNTRIES, AND TURKEY [WHO] SUPPORT THE [SYRIAN] OPPOSITION… THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY OF ESTABLISHING A DECLARED OR UNDECLARED SALAFIST PRINCIPALITY IN EASTERN SYRIA (HASAKA AND DER ZOR), AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE SUPPORTING POWERS TO THE OPPOSITION WANT, IN ORDER TO ISOLATE THE SYRIAN REGIME…”.

As the originating classification authority, Flynn had final say on what to release pursuant to a Freedom of Information Act filed by Judicial Watch with the DIA. And the fact that the above paragraph was allowed to be released, in full, sent Brennan and Obama through the roof. On April 30, 2014, Flynn was forced to retire, a full year before the end of his tour, from the U.S. Army.

Brennan began circulating rumors to Washington officialdom that Flynn was guilty of developing his own facts, dubbed "Flynn facts," in intelligence reports. Brennan's goal was to discredit Flynn's and the DIA's intelligence pinning support for ISIL and other jihadists on the CIA. A tip from Flynn's predecessor, Vincent Stewart, to former Secretary of State Colin Powell intimated that Flynn was "abusive with staff, didn’t listen, worked against policy, bad management, etc." It was information that Brennan used to convince Obama to send Flynn packing.

It was no coincidence that Guandolo and Flynn both ended up being described as hate mongers by the Zionist-run Southern Poverty Law Center, an Orwellian "Ministry of Truth" designed to stifle free speech in the United States and an organization that has served the interests of the CIA.

The recent assassination of Russian ambassador to Turkey Andrey Karlov by an off-duty Turkish anti-riot police officer, who casually strolled into an art exhibit in Ankara, bears the markings of Brennan's "Disposition Matrix." Karlov served in Ankara since 2013 and his posting overlapped with Flynn's term as DIA chief. It is known that Flynn, like Trump, sees Russia as an invaluable ally against the Islamic State and its major allies, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. Brennan and his friends inside the Turkish dictatorship of Recep Tayyip Erdogan are trying to spin the story that the Islamist police assassin of Karlov, Mevlüt Mert Altıntaş, worked for the Fethulleh Gulen organization. Gulen is a moderate Muslim businessman-cleric living in exile in Pennsylvania who has been a fierce critic of the Islamic State and Erdogan's alliance with it in Syria.

Although a past CIA asset, Gulen would have no interest in ordering a hit on the Russian ambassador. As a Saudi intelligence mole, Brennan does have a keen interest in the killing of Karlov. By assassinating Karlov, Brennan has driven a wedge in an emerging Russian-Turkish agreement to consolidate Assad's control of Aleppo and bring about the end of Brennan's jihadist army in Syria.

Brennan's CIA Secret report on Russia influencing the 2016 U.S. election through a cyber-offensive warfare program is another product of Brennan's attempt to deny the White House to Trump. Brennan understands that his Saudi masters are fretting over Trump's presidency and his antipathy toward to Saudi and Gulf Arab states. Guandolo, who has found a home with some problematic characters, including generic Muslim-haters like Frank Gaffney and Pamela Geller, has stated that the Obama administration
"intentionally" aided terrorists and has committed treason.

It is clear that Guandolo saw FBI raw intelligence on Brennan that would lead anyone to conclude that the Saudis and their Wahhabist imams have benefited from a major mole inside the CIA for at least two decades. And there is no telling what Flynn was able to gather on Brennan, especially while enjoying "all-source" intelligence access to signals intelligence intercepts from the National Security Agency, FBI field agents' reports, and even CIA counter-intelligence reports on suspected moles within Langley. There is one thing for certain, Brennan is already destroying incriminating documents at CIA headquarters that could land him in prison for a very long time.

9/11's conspiracy trio falling apart by Wayne Madsen Report

9/11's conspiracy trio falling apart by Wayne Madsen Report
The three conspirators -- American neocons, Saudi Arabia, and Israel -- that successfully pulled off the crime of the 21st century, namely the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the United States, are infighting to the point that the layers of secrecy surrounding the 9/11 attacks are beginning to wither away.

The weakest link in the troika of conspirators is Saudi Arabia, the country that provided the manpower, finances, and hijacker personnel for the cover story -- "Al Qaeda did it" -- for 9/11. Stung by U.S. congressional moves to allow families of 9/11 victims to sue Saudi Arabia and calls for the Obama administration to release 28 classified pages in the joint Congressional Inquiry on 9/11 intelligence failures to the public, the Saudi government is now pushing the story that the U.S. government was responsible for carrying out the 9/11 attack. A Saudi legal scholar, Katib al Shammari, writing in the London-based "Al Hayat" newspaper and believed to be representing the view of the Saudi government, stated:

"September 11 is one of winning cards in the American archives, because all the wise people in the world who are experts on American policy and who analyze the images and the videos agree unanimously that what happened in the Towers was a purely American action, planned and carried out within the U.S. Proof of this is the sequence of continuous explosions that dramatically ripped through both buildings... Expert structural engineers demolished them with explosives, while the planes crashing only gave the green light for the detonation – they were not the reason for the collapse. But the U.S. still spreads blame in all directions. This can be dubbed 'victory by means of archives.'"

Alarmed by the willingness of its regional ally Saudi Arabia to question the official version of 9/11, Israel weighed in with New York Democratic Senator Charles Schumer to place a "poison pill" in the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism (JASTA) bill that cleared the Senate in a unanimous vote. The bill would allow the families of the victims of foreign government-sponsored terrorism to sue the governments involved for damages. The law, which President Obama indicated he would veto, would lift"sovereign immunity" on countries like Saudi Arabia, thus making them liable for civil law suits. Schumer placed an amendment inside the JASTA bill that would allow Saudi Arabia to avoid law suits so long as the U.S. State and Justice Departments certified to the trial judge hearing any JASTA case that the two departments were making good faith efforts with the defendant country to resolve any issues bilaterally. Schumer's amendment -- the Stay of Actions Pending State Negotiations -- would also allow the State and Justice Departments to seek from the court continual 180-day stays, thus killing any lawsuits indefinitely.

Israel is also concerned that it, too, could face lawsuits under the provisions of JASTA. WMR has previously reported that some of the footnotes in the classified 28 pages provide links that lead to Israeli involvement in 9/11. It is noteworthy that the Saudis are blaming the George W. Bush administration for carrying out 9/11 and are leaving Israel out of the equation. Schumer's actions on behalf of the Saudis are a clear indication that the Saudi-Israeli alliance remains intact.

Coupled with House Speaker Paul Ryan's decision, after his recent trip to Saudi Arabia, to not allow JASTA to come before a full House vote and Obama's promise to veto the bill, it is all but dead. Meanwhile, Congress has been inundated with Saudi lobbyists who now appear to have been successful in killing off JASTA. However, the damage to the troika of conspirators may have already been done.

A Saudi government-linked legal scholar is now on record that 9/11 was an "inside job." Schumer, a virtual agent for the government of Israel, has killed JASTA to protect two of the conspirators -- Israel and Saudi Arabia. That leaves only the U.S. neoconservatives who were involved in facilitating 9/11 without protecti0on. And with Donald Trump already giving muted signals that 9/11 was an inside job, the neocons have only Hillary Clinton to provide them protection. If Trump wins the White House, the neocons will be left as the exposed third leg of the 9/11 troika.

The CIA's jihadist formation team by Wayne Madsen

The CIA's jihadist formation team
by Wayne Madsen
By 1980, the Central Intelligence Agency had decided that it would use the most violent of Muslim jihadists to help bring down the Soviet Union. Target number one was the pro-Soviet secular government of Afghanistan, a land where men and women were co-equals, jihadism and Islamist radicalism was banned, and which was much more democratic than the CIA-backed Islamist regimes that followed it.

The formation of the jihadist "Arab Legion" that would go to Afghanistan to fight the Soviets and the socialist Afghan government was largely conducted out of the CIA station at the U.S. embassy in Cairo. There, CIA officials, using Saudi-supplied cash and lots of it, worked with Egyptian intelligence officers, many covert Muslim Brotherhood supporters, to select the most radical Islamist mercenaries to head off to Pakistan and then across the border with Afghanistan to take on the Afghan and Soviet armies. President Jimmy Carter's radically anti-Soviet national security adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski, a Polish nationalist, actually began supporting the Afghan mujaheddin against the ruling
People's Democratic Party of Afghanistan six months before the Soviet invasion of the country. The mujaheddin had already been attacking Afghan military and other government installations with the encouragement of the CIA. When Secretary of State Cyrus Vance objected to the U.S. policy of supporting Afghan terrorists, he was forced out of the Carter administration as a result of pressure on Carter from Brzezinski.

Chief among the CIA's support team in Cairo were Omar Abdel Rahman, the "blind shaikh," who was later convicted for his involvement in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing; Dr. Ayman al Zawahiri, now the reported chief of "Al Qaeda," which was, according to the late British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook, a database of the CIA's Islamist contacts, mercenaries, and financiers around the world; and Osama bin Laden, the wealthy scion of the founder of the Saudi Bin Laden construction firm.

In 1980, the CIA chief of station in Cairo in 1980 responsible for organizing the Islamist Arab Legion for the Afghan front was Murat Natirboff, who, in 1980, was 59 years of age, relatively old for an active station chief. Murat is the Russian derivative of the Arabic word "murad," which means "will" or "purpose." Murad was the name of the son of the 16th century Moghul emperor of India, Akbar. The Natirboffs had strong Muslim roots in the Soviet Union. The family had fled the Northern Caucasus in the 1920s during the Russian civil war. Eventually, they settled in the United States. Murat's brother, Elmourza "Elmo" Natirboff, was a pilot for Bahamas Airways and a veteran of the Soviet Air Force during World War II. "Elmo" was the co-pilot for World War II Soviet ace pilot Boris Sergievsky.

It is clear that Natirboff was central CIA cog in formulating a pan-Islamic "jihad" against the USSR. In the mid-1980s, Natirboff turned up at the U.S. embassy in Moscow where his official job was "counselor for regional affairs." In fact, Natirboff was the CIA's station chief and his main target, in addition to spying on Soviet activities against the CIA-supported mujaheddin in Afghanistan, was to stir up Islamist opposition to Communist rule in the predominantly Muslim republics of the USSR, including those in the North Caucasus. The restive region was where another CIA officer, Graham Fuller, was making contact with Chechens and other Muslim groups in hopes of starting a Muslim "second front" against the Soviets from within their own "soft underbelly" of the Caucasus region.
Fuller would appear in the news later. The nephews of his former son-in-law, Tamerlan and Dzkokhar Tsarnaev, were charged with carrying out the Boston Marathon bombing. Ruslan Tsarni, formerly Tsarnaev, was married to Fuller's daughter, a marriage obviously born out of Fuller's dalliances with anti-Soviet Muslim operatives during and after the Afghanistan campaign.

In Moscow, Natirboff was front and center in the espionage charges brought against U.S. News & World Report reporter Nicholas Daniloff in 1986. Daniloff got involved in a nasty espionage operation that involved David Goldfarb, a Soviet Jewish "refusenik" and Natirboff. Daniloff was eventually released by the Soviets after he pleaded nolo contendre to the spy charges.

The North Caucasus-American "grandfather" of Al Qaeda, Taliban, and ISIL: Murat Natirboff, CIA station chief Cairo, 1978-80.

David Goldfarb is said to have refused a KGB request that he help frame Daniloff. However, David Goldfarb was merely the Jewish refusenik connection to the CIA and Natirboff, which combined with in the Muslim radicalization program, were central elements of the CIA's overall operations to destabilize the Soviet Union. David Goldfarb's son, Alex Goldfarb, was the attorney for ex-KGB agent Alexander Litvinenko and exiled Russian oligarch Boris Berezovsky. Alex Goldfarb issued forth statement after statement accusing Russian President Vladimir Putin of being behind the radiation poisoning of Litvinenko in London in 2006. In fact, and as originally reported by WMR, Litvinenko, who had joined with the Chechen Islamist guerrillas battling Russian forces, was killed by Berezovsky in order to place blame on Putin.

Alex Goldfarb, an Israeli national who claimed to have been a former radiation specialist in microbiology at
Kurchatov Research Institute of Nuclear Energy when he declared that Litvinenko was assassinated by a radiation weapon ordered into London by Putin, never wrote a single paper dealing with nuclear physics or nuclear chemistry. He also claims to have been a lawyer. The truth of the matter is that Goldfarb, like his father, were participants in a Mossad and CIA operation to use Muslim radicals to bring down first the USSR and then the Russian Federation. David Goldfarb worked with the CIA Islamophile Natirboff while his son worked with the Chechen liaison operative Litvinenko. Lording over Alex Goldfarb was George Soros, who funded Goldfarb's medical research in New York, and Berezovsky, who, along with Soros, funded Goldfarb's front NGO, theInternational Foundation for Civil Liberties, an anti-Russian government organization. In 1994, Goldfarb ran Soros's Russian Internet Project, which developed the Internet across the Russian Federation. In 1995, Goldfarb was involved in Soros operations in Georgia aimed at overthrowing the Georgian President, Eduard Shevardnadze, the last foreign minister of the Soviet Union.

When Berezovsky was found dead in his bathroom of his Berkshire, England manor house, Goldfarb was strangely silent about the suspicious death that even involved British police dispatching a nuclear, chemical, and biological hazardous materials team to the estate. Berezovsky's death came after the exiled oligarch sent a letter to Putin, in which he apologized to the Russian leader for his past actions and requesting to be allowed to return to Russia. Berezovsky was also in a position to brief Putin on the anti-Russian activities involving Goldfarb, Soros, and other exiled Russian Jews, some of whom were providing support to Chechen and other Islamist groups via countries like Turkey, Ukraine, and Georgia.

The CIA was able to cobble together an anti-Soviet/Russian coalition that involved Muslim jihadists and Jewish Zionists. The effects of that dangerous duo have been felt since the fall of the socialist Afghan government and the USSR: the 9/11 attack; joint Israeli and jihadist support for the Islamist rebels in Libya, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen; and the Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris in early 2015.

All of these operations grew out of the CIA's station in Cairo in 1979-80. Natirboff's deputy in Cairo was Charles T. Englehart, a veteran of the CIA station in Karachi, Pakistan, a country that would become a central player in deploying the Arab Legion of jihadists into Afghanistan. The Cairo station's number three man was Mati Lohuaru, a German native and Arabic speaker who had been assigned to the CIA stations in Beirut and Kuwait, the latter of which helped fund the Arab Legion.

A key mujaheddin support figure from 1979 to 1980 was CIA case officer in Islamabad Gary Schroen. Ironically, Schroen, who was CIA station chief in Islamabad from 1996 to 1999, was tapped after the 9/11 attack to lead a CIA team into Afghanistan to find and kill Osama bin Laden. Bin Laden reportedly escaped from Tora Bora in Afghanistan into Pakistan after a battle with U.S. forces. But what were Schroen's actual orders from Langley with regard to the leader of Al Qaeda and his one-time comrade-in-arms against the Soviets? Was it "find and kill" bin Laden or "find and help him to escape?"

Another Arab Legion player was Jackson Sigler, the CIA station chief in Jeddah from 1978 through 1980. Sigler was a central player in arranging for Saudi financial and other support for the Islamist fighters being recruited around the Arab world to head off to Pakistan to join the mujaheddin forces gearing up for the anti-Soviet operations in Afghanistan. Sigler's deputy in Jeddah was Charles E. Waterman. Waterman, a national intelligence officer for the Middle East, was fired by the CIA in 1985 for leaking top secret CIA information to "Middle Eastern interests." Waterman was a strong believer that the U.S. intelligence community should have been organized along Israeli lines, which he considered to be more successful. When he was investigated by the FBI, Waterman was protected by the CIA's general counsel Stanley Sporkin, a friend of director William Casey and a pro-Israeli asset within the CIA. Sporkin was later nominated by Ronald Reagan for a federal judgeship amid howls of protest from Republican members of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

However, Waterman was also a confirmed Arabist but one tilting toward the Saudis and Gulf monarchies. According to Robert Dreyfus's book "Devil's Game," Waterman did not feel that the Wahhabist-oriented Muslim World League (MWL) and World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) were anything to worry about. Waterman, who knew the group supported Islamic student movements around the world, was happy that "charitable" organizations like WML, WAMY -- both linked to the Muslim Brotherhood -- fight against "left-wing students" and the CIA was fine with that.

Waterman's success in helping recruit Arab volunteers for the mujaheddin would later pay off handsomely. Waterman's K Street lobbying firm, Jefferson Waterman International (JWI), would help client dictators around the world evade international sanctions. Among JWI's clients were the Croatian leader Franjo Tudjman, the Burmese military junta, Gambia's brutal dictator Yahyah Jammeh, and Liberian dictator Charles Taylor.

A not-so-insignificant "gem" of a Charles Waterman memo from the Reagan years.

There are strong suspicions that current CIA director John O. Brennan harbors loyalty toward the Saudi Wahhabist/jihadist cause. While that may be surprising to some people, consider the fact that in 1980, an anti-Russian from the Islamist hotbed of the North Caucasus was the CIA's point man in Cairo responsible for organizing the muhajeddin mercenaries, some of whom would later form the Taliban, Al Qaeda, and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). Brennan appears to be following a long CIA tradition.

U.S. tries to drive wedge between Putin and Assad by Wayne Madsen

U.S. tries to drive wedge between Putin and Assad by Wayne Madsen
President Obama's policy of initiating "constructive engagement" with Russian President Vladimir Putin was prompted by advice given to the American president by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Central Intelligence Agency director John Brennan. Obama has relied on the two for most of his guidance on Middle Eastern affairs. However, both Erdogan and Brennan are fierce critics of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Assad's government is highly skeptical of the actual reasons behind the Obama-Putin rapprochement, fearing that it is a ploy to convince Moscow to abandon its long time ally in Damascus.

Last November, Putin was virtually isolated at the G20 Summit in Brisbane and attendees lined up, one after another, to lambaste Putin over the retro-cession of Crimea back to Russia from Ukraine and Putin's support for eastern Ukrainian Russian-speaking rebels. Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott even threatened to "shirt front" Putin, which is an Australian football term meaning chest bump, at the summit. One iconic photo from the summit showed Putin eating lunch alone at a table. Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper said he told Putin, "l'll shake your hand, but I only have one thing to say to you: Get out of Ukraine!" Putin, disgusted with the childish behavior from the G20 leaders, including Obama, left Australia early to return home to Moscow.

However, at this year's G20 summit in Antalya, in Islamic State-friendly Turkey and not far from Syria, G20 leaders could not wait to sidle up to Putin. Gone were Abbott, who was ousted in an political party back benchers' coup by Malcolm Turnbull, and Harper, who was roundly defeated by Liberal leader Justin Trudeau. Turnbull and Trudeau are friendlier to Russia than their predecessors.

Putin in negotiations with Obama at G20 in Antalya, Turkey. Obama national security adviser Susan Rice [back turned toward camera] and interpreter join discussion. Assad fears that Obama is trying to convince Putin to abandon Assad in favor of Turkish- and Saudi-controlled opposition forces.
There is solid evidence that there is a propaganda campaign designed to split Moscow from Damascus. Although it has been proven by Syrian Catholic Mother Superior Agnes Mariam and others that the CIA- and Saudi-backed Free Syrian Army launched the sarin gas attack against civilians in Ghouta in a "false flag" operation designed to pin blame on Assad, the same neoconservative and Israel Lobby meme of Assad "gassing his own people" is making its rounds again on the Zionist-controlled MSNBC and The Daily Beast. In addition, the neocons, upset with the G20's decision to work with Putin and Assad, has put forward a conspiracy theory making its rounds in the Zionist-owned media that Putin and Assad jointly created the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

Consequently, as a result of the negotiations between Putin and Obama, as well as Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's recent Oval Office talks in Washington with Obama, Syria's government is concerned that there is a plan afoot by Washington, Moscow, and Jerusalem to divide the Middle East into spheres of influence, with Moscow being guaranteed port and pipeline access in Syria, Iraq, and a planned independent Kurdistan comprising Kurdish areas in Iraq and Syria. Syria has activated its public relations resources in Europe, particularly in France and Germany, to advance the story that Putin has opted to work with Obama, Erdogan, and Netanyahu to redraw the borders of the Middle East, with Assad being the chief casualty.

Damascus is playing a trick of its own in putting forth the Russ-American secret "new Middle East" plan. Syria's interpretation of the plans for the redrawing of the Middle East map includes having Saudi Arabia split into three different nations: a Shi'a-dominated oil-rich Nejd in the east, an insulated Saudi rump state around Riyadh, and a Turkish-influenced Hejaz in the west, which would include the two Islamic holy cities of Mecca and Medina. The Syrian interpretation has resulted in the Saudis becoming alarmed at being shut out entirely from the Syrian and Kurdish negotiations and the specter of thousands of jihadis it has supported in Syria and Iraq heading to Saudi Arabia looking for revenge after their defeat on the Syrian and Iraqi battlefields.

Assad and his government, however, should rest a bit easier, according to WMR's sources in Europe. Putin has no plans to abandon Assad, even though Moscow supports the plan for United Nations-brokered peace talks between Assad and the Syrian rebels, not including the Islamic State and its allies.

Russia remains suspicious of Obama's and CIA director Brennan's lack of enthusiasm for combating ISIL. The day before the Friday 13th ISIL attacks in Paris, Obama said that he favored merely "containing" ISIL in Syria and Iraq, not wiping it out. It is known that ISIL has received recruiting, financial, military, and intelligence support from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Qatar. In addition, the CIA, Mossad, the Israel Defense Force, and Turkish MIT intelligence has provided ISIL and its allies with weapons, ammunition, and logistics support in Syria and Iraq. Only after the Paris terrorist attacks did the U.S., belatedly, order its A10 attack planes to strike a convoy of 116 ISIL oil tanker trucks smuggling oil out of Syria. The U.S. had previously chose not to attack ISIL oil trucks. ISIL received much of its financial support from the sale of smuggled oil on the world's petroleum spot market.

Putin is acutely aware that Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and his government is quietly assuring, through Ukrainian nationalist leaders like Dmitry Korchinsky, that top ISIL commanders will be given asylum in Ukraine as long as they carry their war on against Russia in the Donbas region and Chechnya. Korchinsky, the leader of the neo-Nazi Ukrainian "Brotherhood," actively participated in the Maidan Square uprising against Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych Korchinsky and his nationalist activists received support from the George Soros network, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs Victoria Nuland and U.S. ambassador to Kiev Geoffrey Pyatt (both of whom are Jewish), the CIA, and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Obama and the other members of the "Quint," Britain, the U.S., France, Germany, and Italy, said they had no plans to relax Western sanctions imposed against Russia over Ukraine. As long as Ukraine is prepared to welcome ISIL guerrillas to its soil to fight against Russia, Assad can rest easy that Putin will never sacrifice him in favor of the duplicitous interests of the United States and European Union.

Declassified CIA report yields information contained in missing 28-pages by Wayne Madsen

Declassified CIA report yields information contained in missing 28-pages
by Wayne Madsen

Two Central Intelligence Agency reports on the problems of the CIA's Counter-terrorism Center (CTC), one issued in August 2001, a little over two weeks before the 9/11 attack, and the other issued in June 2005, contain much of the information in the missing 28-pages from the Joint Inquiry into Intelligence Community Activities Before and After the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001. Former Senator Bob Graham (D-FL), the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, and a principal author of the joint inquiry report, has, along with three senators and three U.S. representatives, urged the 28 pages to be declassified.

The first report, classified SECRET NOFORN [No foreign dissemination], is the"Inspection Report of the DCI Counterterrorism Center Directorate of Operations," dated August 2001. The second report, classified TOP SECRET/HCS [Humint Control System]/SI [Special Intelligence]/NOFORN/ORCON [Originator controls dissemination and/or release of the document] is the "Office of Inspector General Report on Central Intelligence Agency Accountability Regarding Findings and Conclusions  of the Report of the Joint Inquiry Into Intelligence Community Activities Before and After the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001." Both reports are heavily redacted. The information revealed in the second report, which was prepared in response to the findings contained in Graham's report, bolster WMR's previous reports that the missing 28-pages link Saudi government officials to the 9/11 attack and imply that Israel withheld important intelligence from the United States on the impeding attacks and may have been in collusion with the Saudis to see that the attack was carried out.

The most damning revelation is on page 20 of the second report from 2005, which implies that the CIA's CTC took a sabbatical on all "intelligence reports" (IRs) on terrorist activity in Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen. Yemen was the ancestral home of Osama bin Laden. The report states that CTC personnel did not prepare any terrorist activity summaries during the late spring or summer of 2001 that provided any assessment of the overall threat. BY not focusing on Israel, Saudi Arabia, or Bin Laden associates' activities in Yemen, other U.S. intelligence agencies were blind to the impending attack.

The key paragraph is:

"Although the CIA used many vehicles to inform the policymakers of the threat [of impeding terrorist attacks], CTC analysts did not write any Intelligence Report (IR) or similar product during the late spring or summer that provided any assessment of the overall threat. IRs earlier in the year warned of threats in Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Yemen; between mid-May 2001 and 9/11, however, CTC wrote no IRs that provided a comprehensive analysis of all the threats being received [emphasis added] or that put the then-current warning environment in context. In fact, the few IRs that CTC wrote during the late spring and summer included no threat warnings at all."

In other words, the CTC ignored reports emanating from the Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Marshals Service, Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Coast Guard, National Guard, state and local police, and other agencies about fake Israeli "art students," all with experience as Israeli military and intelligence operatives, casing federal facilities and offices, as well as the homes of federal employees, all within the same areas where the alleged 9/11 Saudi, Egyptian, and Yemeni hijackers maintained residences. The CIA's Counterterrorism Center "stood down" during the height of seemingly joint Israeli intelligence and Arab hijacker activity that ranged from Jersey City to Hollywood, Florida and Irving, Texas to San Diego. WMR was told by those who read the missing 28-pages from the Joint Congressional report that Saudi-Israeli collusion in the 9/11 attack can be extrapolated from the footnoted material. The June 2005 CIA report largely provides the information that remains redacted in the Joint Inquiry.

Page 227 of the second report also states that critical CIA intelligence assets were devoted in the six months preceding 9/11 not to Al Qaeda, which was a demonstrated threat to the United States, but to "Hizballah" or Lebanese Hezbollah. While Hezbollah is a sworn enemy of Israel it was not a hostile threat to the United States. The report states, " . . . about three-quarters of the pieces for the Senior Executive Intelligence Brief (SEIB) that AIG [Assessment and Information Group] did during the six months prior to 9/11 covered terrorist groups other than al-Qa'ida, such as Hizballah." This fact also indicates Israeli intelligence and pro-Israeli neo-conservative interference with the U.S. intelligence posture prior to 9/11.

Page 257 suggests that the CTC was as much or more concerned about "anti-globalists" committing terrorist attacks in July 2001 than Al Qaeda.

The 2005 CIA report also states that the Joint Inquiry criticized the CIA for devoting too much time on non-Al Qaeda threats.

The CIA report also states that according to the Joint Inquiry (JI), the CIA withheld information from the FBI about the pe-9/11 planning meeting in Malaysia of Al Qaeda hijackers Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar and al-Mihdhar's visa to enter the United States. Nor was action taken on four Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) leads on al-Mihdhar, al-Hazmi, Zacarias Moussaoui (the so-called "20th hijacker"), and the Malaysia terrorist summit. This is an obvious reference to the DIA's Able Danger program that was abruptly shut down after 9/11.

Page 324 of the CIA report states that the Joint Inquiry criticized the CIA's over-reliance on "foreign services to develop human sources," thus meaning that the CIA had "insufficient focus on unilateral operations." It is known that one of the foreign services that the CIA relied on too heavily for human intelligence, even intelligence that proved bogus and incomplete, was Israel's Mossad. In a February 16, 2005, memo from former CIA director George Tenet to the CIA Inspector General, Tenet states that his plan to concentrate CIA intelligence gathering on the sanctuaries of Bin Laden and his associates in "Sudan, Lebanon, Yemen, and, most importantly, Afghanistan" were briefed to "former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and former DCIs Helms and Woolsey." Kissinger and Woolsey are known ciphers for Israeli intelligence. Kissinger and Woolsey, private citizens at the time of their briefings by Tenet, likely served as important leaks to the Mossad about what the CIA knew about Al Qaeda's future plans.

The CIA report notes that a few officials within the CTC and the CIA's Near East Division speculated that "dissident sympathizers" within the Saudi government may have aided Al Qaeda and that "'a few Saudi Government officials' may support Usama Bin Laden (UBL)." The section of the report dealing with Saudi government complicity in 9/11 is heavily redacted.

WMR has previously reported that among those Saudi officials who aided and abetted Al Qaeda and the 9/11 attack was present Saudi King Salman, the Governor of Riyadh province in 2001, and Prince Bandar, the Saudi ambassador in Washington who was so close to the Bush family he became known as "Bandar Bush."

DIA message confirms ISIL is a Western construct by Wayne Madsen

DIA message confirms ISIL is a Western construct by Wayne Madsen
A formerly SECRET NOFORN (No Foreign Dissemination) message, dated August 5, 2012, to the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) from a redacted U.S. government agency, provides more evidence that the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), otherwise known as the Islamic State or "Da'ish," was a construct of U.S. intelligence. As WMR reported in the past, ISIL was also incubated and sustained by the Saudi, Qatari, Turkish, and Israeli intelligence services.

The message, declassified as the result of a Freedom of Information Act request submitted by Judicial Watch, a conservative organization, indicates that the intelligence on ISIL was "not finally evaluated," which means it was not sanitized and editorialized by the political operatives within the U.S. intelligence community.

The message released is unusual in that some of the action and information "addees" have been redacted, which is not normally the case with declassified message traffic, whether it is originated by the Defense Department, State Department, or U.S. intelligence agencies.

The message leads off with the following: "The Salafist, the Muslim Brotherhood, and AQI [Al Qaeda in Iraq] are the major forces driving the insurgency in Iraq." The message goes on to state: "The West, Gulf countries, and Turkey support the [Syrian] opposition; while Russia, China, and Iran support the regime." The "regime" is the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

The message also states: "AQI supported the Syrian opposition from the beginning, both ideologically and through the media . . . and conducted a number of operations in several under the name of Jaish al Nusra (Victorious Army), one of its affiliates."

There is also a direct reference to the similarity of Western support for the Syrian and Iraqi jihadists and those who emerged in Libya following the overthrow of Muammar el-Qaddafi. This support was directed to internationally-supported "safe havens" harboring the jihadist and Salafist forces: "Opposition forces are trying to control the eastern areas (Hasaka and Der Zor), adjacent to the western Iraqi provinces (Mosul and Anbar), in addition to neighboring Turkish borders. Western countries, the Gulf countries and Turkey are supporting these efforts[emphasis added]. This hypothesis is most likely in accordance with the data from recent events, which will help prepare safe havens under international sheltering, similar to what transpired in Libya when Benghazi was chosen as the command center of the temporary government." What the message does not state is that the "safe havens" in Syria, Iraq, and Benghazi were the locations where the Islamic State and its allies declared a caliphate (the Islamic caliphate in Syria and Iraq) and an emirate (the Emirate of Derna in eastern Libya).

The operative paragraph states that the "supporting powers to the opposition" want to establish "declared or undeclared Salafist principality in eastern Syria (Hasaka and Der Zor), and this is exactly what the supporting powers [Western countries, the Gulf countries and Turkey} want, in order to isolate the Syrian regime, which is considered the strategic depth of the Shia expansion (Iraq and Iran).

The Western powers -- the United States, Britain, France, and, more importantly, Israel -- working in concert with the Gulf countries [Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Bahrain], as well as Turkey, according to U.S. intelligence, created ISIL to destroy the Shia-dominated nations of Syria and Iraq. The fall of Palmyra in Syria and Ramadi in Iraq are a result of this conspiracy of "supporting powers." The civil war in Yemen that has seen the very same "supporting powers," including Egypt, providing military forces to fight the Shi'a-aligned Houthi rebels is, like the civil wars in Syria and Iraq, of U.S. Saudi, Israeli, and Turkish design. Ultimately, Iran is the target for the "supporting powers" of ISIL and its allies.

WMR has been reporting on the NATO and Gulf Arab support for ISIL since the group first raised its black and white caliphate flag in Syria. Syrian rebels, who later formed the core of ISIL, were photographed with Senator John McCain during a covert foray by his and his assistant, Elizabeth O'Bagy, into a rebel-held "safe haven" in Syria. Among those photographed with McCain was
the future Islamic State caliph, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

In a three-part series in September 2014, WMR reported the following: "
The deeper one digs into the operations surrounding the 'Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant' (ISIL), or, as it is variably called, 'Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham' (ISIS), 'Al Dawlah' (the State), or 'Da'ish' (a concatenation of 'al-Dawla al-Islamiya fi Iraq wa al-Sham,' the more the Islamist insurgent group's links to Western and Israeli intelligence are revealed . . . There is every indication that ISIL has significant links to Israel. Although there are claims to the contrary, ISIL absorbed most of the ranks of the Al Qaeda-affiliated Jabhat al-Nusra (Al Nusra Front) Islamist insurgent group in Syria. Al Nusra Front has coordinated its seizure of Syrian army positions along the Golan Heights border with the Israeli Defense Force (IDF). Rather than hit back at Al Nusra positions on the Syrian side of the Golan frontier, the Israelis attacked Syrian army positions, giving a boost to the Syrian campaigns of Al Nusra in particular and ISIL in general. There are reports that the Israeli military has been given the coordinates of Syrian army and Hezbollah forces, as well as 'Committees for the Defense of the Homeland' militia forces of Alawites, Shi'as, Christians, and Druze, by Al-Nusra/ISIL to launch missile and drone attacks from the Israeli side of the border . . .
The grand master of Israel's Zionist policies, former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, recently stated that Iran was a bigger threat than ISIL. Prospective Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton recently lavishly praised Kissinger in a review of his new book, 'World Order.'"

Our September 2014 report continued: "
ISIL/Al Nusra is enriching itself from ransom payments for hostages being received mostly from Qatar, a member of Obama's newly-formed 'coalition' to fight ISIL. The most recent ransom paid by Qatar to ISIL was for 45 Fijian peacekeepers captured by ISIL's Al Nusra allies in the Golan region of Syria bordering Israel. Qatar also paid ransom payments to Al Nusra-ISIL units for some Syrian nuns and captured Lebanese Army soldiers. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia is, under Obama's 'coalition,' training so-called Free Syrian Army 'moderates' to fight ISIL/Al Nusra and the Assad government. In the past,  the Saudis have conducted such training to radicalize Sunni Muslim volunteers for the Syrian civil war and funnel them to ISIL units in Syria and Iraq."

As we previously stressed, the idea of moderate Syrian rebels is a ruse. The August 2012 U.S. intelligence report states that the core of the Syrian opposition was the Salafists, Al Qaeda in Iraq, and the Muslim Brotherhood, none of which represent anything "moderate."

There were a number of other indications about the "supporting powers'" support for ISIL. A truck carrying factory-fresh black and white ISIL flags through northern Israel to the Syrian-Lebanese border drooped one of the bags and it was found by some local Israeli farmers. Israeli commandos were witnessed delivering weapons to ISIL forces in Iraq's western Anbar province. The details of the discovery of the ISIL flags in Israel was

that gardeners in the northern Israeli city of Nazareth Illit discovered a bag containing about 25 new black-and-white ISIL flags." In May 2015, ISIL rings bearing the same Arabic inscription that appears on the ISIL flag were "confiscated" at Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv. The rings were said to be destined for Gaza via Ramallah in the West Bank and had been shipped from Turkey.

ISIL rings "confiscated" at Ben Gurion Airport. They look good on the hands of "jihadists" while they are beheading hostages.

WMR also reported that "m
any of the ISIL guerrillas are ethnic Chechens who have either citizenship of or permanent residency in the Republic of Georgia. Moreover, ISIL has been selling oil from areas it occupies in Syria and Iraq to Ukraine via Turkish middlemen. ISIL/Jabhat al Nusra/Al Qaeda fighters, many of them Chechens but also some Syrian Arabs, are also suspected of assisting neo-Nazi Ukrainian Right Sector and 'Maidan Self-Defense Force' paramilitaries in carrying out the massacre of 48 Russian-speakers inside Odessa'sHouse of Trade Unions last May. Ironically, some of these ISIL units have also fought in eastern Ukraine alongside Ukrainian paramilitary battalions, including the Azov Battalion, funded by Ukrainian-Israeli billionaire oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky. In return for their assistance in Ukraine, ISIL units are receiving military support in Syria and Iraq from Ukrainian military and paramilitary sources . . . ISIL and Turkish forces have been photographed embracing one another on the Turkish-Syrian frontier in Kobani as ISIL forces pound Syrian Kurdish forces trying to maintain control of the city."

On February 25, 2015, WMR reported on an
ISIL affiliate operative who, in the past, worked for the French external intelligence serviceDirection générale de la sécurité extérieure -- DGSE: "The ex-French agent is David Drugeon who is now a leader of the Khorasan Group in Syria. On October 5, 2014, McClatchy news service reported that Drugeon "defected" from DGSE to Al Qaeda. Although Western intelligence finds it useful to separate ISIL or the Islamic State, the Khorasan Group, Al Qaeda, and the Al Nusra Front, on the Syrian and Iraqi battlefields these group fight under the same command and same black and white jihadist banner."

Our February report continued: "
Israel's military and intelligence services have also reportedly provided assistance to Al Nusra in Syria and ISIL in Iraq. Hakem al-Zameli, the chairman of the Iraqi Parliament's National Security and Defense Committee, stated that Iraq's armed forces shot down two British planes that were carrying weapons to ISIL in Anbar province, the same province where Israeli commandos have been witnessed transferring weapons to ISIL forces. Al-Zameli also said that his committee is receiving daily reports from Anbar province about successive U.S. coalition planes airdropping weapons and and other materials for ISIL in areas held by the jihadist group.
Khalaf Tarmouz, the head of the Anbar Provincial Council said local officials have discovered U.S., European, and Israeli weapons from the areas liberated from ISIL in the Al-Baqdadi region. The Iraqi government has also reported U.S. coalition forces have airdropped weapons to support ISIL in Salahuddin, Al-Anbar and Diyala provinces. Member of Parliament Majid al-Gharawi said he was aware of U.S. airdrops of weapons for ISIL in Salahuddin and other Iraqi provinces.

Al-Zameli said, 'The US drops weapons for the ISIL on the excuse of not knowing about the whereabouts of the ISIL positions and it is trying to distort the reality with its allegations.' He said evidence has been provided by Iraqi army officers and other Iraqi forces.

Iranian Brigadier General Massoud Jazayeri has confirmed the Iraqi government reports. He said, 'The U.S. and the so-called anti-ISIL coalition claim that they have launched a campaign against this terrorist and criminal group – while supplying them with weapons, food and medicine in Jalawla region [in Diyala Governorate].'

Western intelligence links to ISIL are beginning to be exposed around the world. Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov has stated that ISIL's leader, Ibrahim Samarrai, aka 'Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, [McCain's friend] is a Central Intelligence Agency operative who receives financial backing from Western intelligence services. From reports coming from Iraq and Syria, the links between the violent jihadists and their CIA, MI-6, DGSE, and Mossad overseers are becoming abundantly clear."
WMR reported the following month, March, the following: "
Recently, the leader of Lebanon's Druze Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, who has been an erratic on-and-off supporter of Israel, concluded an agreement with the Al Nusra Front and its Syrian Al Qaeda affiliate. Jumblatt concluded the agreement even though his fellow Druze in Idlib, Syria have been given an ultimatum by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) to convert to Wahhabi Islam and destroy their shrines and mausoleums to their religious icons or face execution. Jumblatt is reported by the Lebanese press to have arranged for the forced conversions of the Idlib Druze in exchange for their lives using the offices of the United Arab Emirates.

It has also been reported in the Lebanese press that Israel has helped arrange for contacts, using Jordanian intelligence interlocutors, between Al Nusra/Al Qaeda and the Syrian Druze. Israel has offered military and intelligence support to the Syrian Druze if they attack Syrian government forces and their Lebanese Hezbollah allies in Syria.

Arab media has also reported that Iraqi Hezbollah captured three U.S.-Israeli 'advisers,' along with their U.S. and Israeli passports, and a fourth Israeli citizen in possession of a passport from an unnamed Persian Gulf country, at an ISIL command center in Mosul province. The ISIL command center was captured by Iraqi special forces troops in 'Operation Scorpion Sting' after word reached the authorities in Baghdad that U.S. and Israeli advisers had helped set up a state-of-the-art command center in Tal Abat, in Mosul province. WMR previously reported that Iraqi troops and local Sunni tribes have witnessed Israeli commandos handing over weapons to ISIL guerrillas in Anbar province."

The involvement of Canadian intelligence in support of ISIL was contained in the same report: "
Turkish foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu revealed that Turkish authorities arrested a foreign intelligence agent, believed to be an asset of the Canadian Security and Intelligence Service (CSIS), who was charged with helping three British schoolgirls travel from Britain through Turkey and then into Syria to join ISIL. Under the Stephen Harper government, Canadian intelligence has been ordered to assist Mossad in all matters requested by the Israelis. The arrested agent is Mohammed Mehmet Rashid, aka 'Doctor Mehmet Rashid,' Mohammed al Rashid, and Mohammad Al Rashed, who reported to Bruno Saccomani, the Canadian ambassador to Jordan and Iraq and a former Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) officer who was the head of Harper’s personal security detail until he was appointed ambassador to Amman." In addition: "Russian President Vladimir Putin's aide Alexander Prokhanov charged last December [2014] that Mossad was training ISIL's leadership . . .National Security Agency whistleblower Edward Snowden revealed that British and U.S. intelligence and Mossad worked together to create ISIL in an operation dubbed 'Hornet's Nest.' . . . Adrian Kaba, who represents Sweden's ruling Social Democratic Party on the Malmo City Council and the regional government, wrote in 2014 that Mossad provided training to ISIL. Kaba wrote on his Facebook page that 'ISIS is being trained by the Israeli Mossad. Muslims are not waging war, they are being used as pawns by other peoples’ game.' . . . Israeli foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman suggested ISIL-style beheadings for Israeli Arabs suspected of supporting terrorism . . . According to former FBI agent John Guandolo, the Jesuit-educated Brennan secretly converted to Wahhabi Islam while he served as CIA station chief in Riyadh in the 1990s. In February 2013, Guandolo stated, 'Mr. Brennan did convert to Islam when he served in an official capacity on the behalf of the United States in Saudi Arabia.' Guandolo also said Brennan's life 'was interwoven with individuals that were labeled as terrorists' and that Brennan has spoken in positive terms of 'jihad' or Islamic holy war."

The Saudi government's connection to ISIL is a solid as was its links to the 9/11 "terrorists." On July 2, 2014, WMR had this report: "[Saudi intelligence chief Prince] Bandar, on a pre-Sochi Olympics trip to Moscow, offered Russia a lucrative weapons deal if Russia ceased its support for Assad. Bandar also told Putin that if Russia rejected Saudi Arabia's offer,  Saudi-backed Islamist terrorists in the Caucasus region would be free to launch terrorist attacks on the Winter Olympics in Sochi. Putin reportedly ordered Bandar out of his office in the Kremlin."

John McCain and his Syrian rebel friends, the future commanders of ISIL, in a protected Syrian "safe haven." ISIL's caliph, Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, reportedly severely injured in a recent U.S. air attack, is circled in red.

One would think that committed ISIL jihadists would know the direction of Mecca during their photographed prayers. As they say in Hollywood, "poor directing."
While ISIL forces ransacked and destroyed Shi'a shrines and mosques in Iraq and Syria, Saudi war planes leveled Shi'a mosques and revered buildings in Yemen. In another example of how the Saudis and ISIL are on the same pageit was a Saudi military checkpoint that allowed an ISIL terrorist unit to enter the town of Qadih in eastern Saudi Arabia to bomb a Shi'a mosque. There was not one criticism of the Saudi regime in the official statement [below] issued by ISIL taking credit for the deadly blast at the mosque.
