Historical evidence points to Trump's father being a Nazi sympathizer; possible wartime agent

An historian, who specializes on Nazi influence in America during the 1920s, 30s, and early 40s, has contacted WMR with supporting evidence that Fred Trump, Donald Trump's father and New York real estate baron, was not only a Nazi sympathizer during the 1920s and 30s, during the time of Adolf Hitler's rise to power in Germany, but may have also acted as an intelligence agent for Nazi Germany in wartime America.

Heretofore, the evidence that Fred Trump was a Nazi sympathizer rested on a June 1, 1927 article in The New York Times. The article, "Warren Criticizes 'Class' Parades," reported that "1,000 Klansmen and 100 policemen staged a free-for-all battle in Jamaica." Jamaica is a neighborhood in Queens where Fred Trump resided at the time. Donald Trump has consistently sought to obfuscate the fact of his father's arrest, claiming in media interviews that it never happened and that his father never lived at 175-24 Devonshire Road in Jamaica, as claimed in The New York Times story from 1927. Fred Trump, according to the Times story, was released by Magistrate Thomas F. Doyle. It is noteworthy that Fred Trump and the six other defendants arrested with him at the Klan march were represented by ex-Judge Edgar F. Hazleton, described in the article as a "prominent member of the Knights of Columbus," the Roman Catholic fraternal society. Fred Trump and his fellow Klansmen were actually protesting against the "Roman Catholic" New York Police Department when the melee broke out with the hundred New York cops.

However, an announcement of the marriage of Fred Trump to Mary A. MacLeod, Donald Trump's mother, that ran in the January 22, 1936 edition of the Long Island Daily Press clearly states that Fred Trump of "175-24 Devonshire road, Jamaica." Donald Trump has a habit of calling any news unfavorable to him and his family "fake news" from the "lying media." In fact, "lying press" (Lügenpresse) was a pejorative used by the Nazis in Germany to describe "Jewish, Communist, and foreign-owned" media. During the 2016 presidential campaign, the term "lying press" was resurrected by Trump supporters, including members of alt-right neo-Nazi groups.
The fact that a prominent member of the Knights of Columbus would represent Fred Trump and the other Klansmen is interesting because the 1920s -- which saw a KKK heavily steeped in anti-Catholic and anti-papacy beliefs -- would quickly subside in the 1930s and give way to the German-American Bund as the leading far-right political grouping in the United States. The Bund supported Adolf Hitler and his Nazi Party. Because Hitler was a Roman Catholic, the American far-right toned down anti-Catholic fervor and concentrated their venom on Jews and blacks.

Fred Trump's parents hailed from Bavaria and, although they were ostensibly Lutheran, their home village in predominantly Lutheran Kallstadt was surrounded by heavily Catholic parishes. On the eve of the outbreak of World War II, Fred Trump, already a successful real estate mogul in Queens and Brooklyn, claimed that he and his parents were Swedish.

Claiming false Swedish lineage was no guarantee of avoiding accusations of pro-Nazi sympathies. During the 1930s, one of the biggest apologists for Nazi Germany was Swedish-American, Charles Lindbergh. "Lucky Lindy" was even awarded the Service Cross of the German Eagle by Nazi Air Minister Hermann Goering in Berlin in 1938. Lindbergh was a prominent member of the America First Committee, which urged the United States to avoid a war with Germany and which had much in common with the pro-Nazi German-American Bund. Donald Trump has resurrected "America First" in his political rhetoric.

Trump apologists claim that Fred Trump was probably arrested not as a marching Klansman, but as an innocent bystander attending what was billed as a Memorial Day parade honoring military war dead. This contention is without merit as seen in the June 2, 1927 edition of the Long Island Daily Press. [Pictured, right] The article on the KKK march clearly states that "when the police attempted to break up the formation of klansmen and resulted in the arrests of seven of the berobed marchers." Not only was Fred Trump part of the Klan march, but he was wearing the signature white robe and regalia of the Ku Klux Klan when he was arrested.
Donald Trump may try to convince his followers that The New York Times is "fake news" -- a ridiculous charge considering the Times article is from 1927, long before Trump's "fake news" meme gained any currency -- but he cannot explain why the same report on his father's arrest appeared in three others newspapers: The Daily Star of Brooklyn of June 1, 1927; The Queens County Evening News of June  2, 1927; and The Richmond Hill Record of June 3, 1927. All three papers, along with The New York Times and The Long Island Daily Press, the Daily Press providing details about Fred Trump's KKK march participation and Klan robes, are certainly not "fake news," but legitimate references that would be relied upon by any historian or biographer. Four of the papers include Fred Trump's address as 175-24 Devonshire, which Donald Trump claimed was never his father's address.

The Richmond Hill Record provides interesting details about Fred Trump's fellow "Jamaica Seven" Klansmen. They hailed from around the New York area: John Kipp of Peekskill, New York; John Marcy of Yonkers, New York; Fred Lyons of New Hyde Park, Long Island; Thomas Carroll of Jamaica; and Harry J. Free of Carl Place, Long Island; as well as Thomas Erwin of West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The KKK march in Queens was no local affair and drew participants from beyond New York City. In the 1930s, Nazi meetings in New York, including the February 20, 1939, 20,000-strong "Americanization" rally at Madison Square Garden, drew participants from around the country, but especially from Long Island, upstate New York, New Jersey, and the Philadelphia area.

There is also the interesting fact that members of the Knight of Columbus defended the ostensibly anti-Catholic Klan, with John P. Conlon, the marshal for five years of the Jamaica Division of the parade, being quoted as saying, "Police action was atrocious and entirely unwarranted. Police performed atrocities which were unpardonable. Without their interference the parade would have been perfect. I am a Knights of Columbus man and I do not agree with the principles of the Klan, but I do believe they should have been granted permission to participate in any parade to honor dead war veterans."

The Klan marchers in Queens [pictured, left] believed that the NYPD was a "Roman Catholic" police force, so it would appear unusual for a leading Catholic organization like the Knights of Columbus to defend the KKK. However, given the situation in Europe with the steady rise of Nazism in Germany and fascism in Italy, the right-wing Catholic rapprochement with the KKK is perfectly logical as both groups decided to make common cause against Communism, "Jewish Bolshevism," and socialism. The year 1929 saw the enactment of the Lateran Treaty between the Vatican and Benito Mussolini's fascist government, while the Concordat (Reichskonkordat) between the Vatican and Nazi Germany was signed in 1933 between Vatican Secretary of State Eugenio Pacelli, the future Pope Pius XII (the so-called "Nazi Pope') and Nazi Vice Chancellor Franz Von Papen. These two agreements resulted in Nazi and fascist groups around the world, including the KKK, making common cause with far-right groups, regardless of their Catholic ties.

Perhaps no one was more instrumental in uniting the pro-Nazi sympathizers within the United States than Roman Catholic priest, Father Charles Coughlin. The expert on American Nazism and fascism in the interwar years, a renowned expert on Coughlin, believes that Fred Trump was a follower of not only Coughlin, but of Hitler. The expert's research indicates that Coughlin, much of whose material came from early and rather obscure Hitler speeches, influenced not only Fred Trump but also his son Donald. Research into Hitler's speeches and those of Coughlin and Donald Trump show definite similarities in rhetoric and policies. For example, Donald Trump has called the press the "enemy of the American people." Hitler stated, "A press which is in principle anti-national cannot be tolerated in Germany." The Coughlin expert told WMR that Hitler and Donald Trump have one definite thing in common: "Hitler took advantage of those who thought they were taking advantage of him," adding that Trump does the very same.
Coughlin, whose weekly radio broadcasts from Michigan reached up to 30 million listeners in the United States, were laced with rhetoric in support of Hitler, Mussolini, and Japanese Emperor Hirohito. In 1938, Coughlin voiced support for the Nazi Kristallnacht in Germany, which saw attacks on Jews, synagogues, and Jewish-owned businesses throughout the country. Coughlin also received financial support from Nazi Germany and, along with Lindbergh, was a leading figure in the America First movement.

In the years between Fred Trump's arrest as a robed Klansmen in Queens and his surfacing as a U.S. government contractor, little is known.  Trump was busy building barracks and other buildings for the U.S. Navy troop embarkation ports in Chester, Pennsylvania and Norfolk and Newport News, Virginia. As WMR stated in our August 16, 2017 report: "Around 1937, Fred Trump's pals in the Klan joined with the Bund and the Nazi Silver Shirts and Black Legion to form the Storm Troops. This early "United the Right" movement received heavy corporate funding. By 1937, Fred Trump was making handsome profits as a notorious Queens slum lord. Did any of those profits end up in the coffers of either the Bund or Storm Troops?" In addition, we reported that a Bund member, German immigrant Waldemar Othmer, infiltrated the U.S. military as a civilian employee and dutifully sent via microfilm information to his Abwehr handlers in Berlin on the movements of British and American military vessels, convoys, and merchant ships out of Brooklyn and Norfolk. Sinking American ships was a high priority for German naval commander Admiral Karl Donitz, who dubbed the program Operation Paukenschlag or Drumbeat."

Considering Fred Trump's Klan background and the "unite the right" agreement between the Klan and the Bund-affiliated groups in the United States, did the father of the current president have loyalties to another master, perhaps Herr Hitler? As we previously reported, 'there is every indication that Fred Trump held his far-right views during the war. He adamantly refused to rent to African Americans, even though many of them worked at the Brooklyn Navy Yard and other nearby military bases and were in need of housing. When the draft was imposed in 1940, Fred Trump, who was 35, was subject to conscription but was never drafted. In 1942, Trump's age and dependent children would have put him in a lower priority category for the draft. Yet, Fred Trump did not serve in any draft-exempt occupational areas such as war production or public health and safety."

FBI files on Fred Trump, while containing information on his violation of the Fair Housing Act in the 1960s in refusing to sell or rent to blacks and his ties to organized crime, are void of any mention of his activities in the 1930s and 40s. FBI director J. Edgar Hoover is known to have downplayed the collection of intelligence on America Firsters and Nazis until the December 7, 1941 Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

Defenders of Fred Trump point to his friendship in the 1980s with then-Israeli ambassador to the United Nations Benjamin Netanyahu and Fred Trump's donations to Jewish causes. However, Netanyahu, whose Likud Party has joined political forces with far-right and neo-Nazi groups in Europe and tolerated similar groups in the West Bank and Israel proper, is hardly an exemplar for establishing one's anti-Nazi bona fides. Donald Trump's embrace of pro-Israel Stephen Miller as his adviser and major speechwriter is no different than his father's embrace of Netanyahu. Miller serves as a conduit for President Trump to the alt-right neo-Nazis led by Miller's friend and Duke University classmate, Richard Spencer.

As president, Donald Trump has shown loyalty to foreign autocrats but little to the U.S. Constitution. Donald Trump has called neo-Nazi marchers in Charlottesville, Virginia "fine people" and he has extolled the "virtues" of Confederate generals, placing himself in the mold of his Klan father. Rather than call for a military march in Washington, DC, Mr. Trump might want to fess up about his father's time as a Klansman and as a possible Nazi sympathizer and war-time agent. In the case of the President of the United States, it is not the sins of the father that are as important as the political indoctrination passed down from father to son.

Apparently, WMR's recent Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the FBI for files on ties between Donald Trump's father Fred C. Trump and Nazi and white supremacist groups reflects, save for one other inquiry, is the only media interest for such information.

While the FBI claims its files do not contain any information on Fred Trump's links to Nazi groups like the German-American Bund or white supremacist groups like the Ku Klux Klan, even though he was arrested at a Klan rally in Queens, New York in 1927, the FBI does appear to have tracked Fred Trump's links to organized crime in the 1960s. It is also noteworthy that the FBI's Central Records System (CRS) has been criticized by a number of professional researchers and librarians for its inability to return complete information on searches on specific subjects or individuals. 
In a March 28, 1966 memo from Deputy Attorney General Ramsey Clark to FBI director J. Edgar Hoover, an FBI "Namecheck" on Fred C. Trump of 85-14 Midland Parkway, Jamaica, Long Island, New York is expeditiously requested because of a deposition by Fred Trump being taken by the Justice Department in a "tax case." Clark, who worked for Attorney General Nicholas Katzenbach, requested that the FBI respond no later than March 29, 1966. The FBI did not respond in writing until March 30, 1966, however, there was a conversation between FBI Special Agent George Scatterday and one of Clark's aides on March 28, 1966. The FBI's written response to Clark stated, "no identifiable information" was found pertinent to Clark's request concerning Trump. 

Katzenbach, who succeeded anti-mob Attorney General Robert Kennedy in September 1964, continued Kennedy's aggressive pursuit of mobsters. Wiretaps and electronic bugs placed on known mobsters in New York and New Jersey by Kennedy were kept in place by Katzenbach. In 1965, President Lyndon Johnson ordered the electronic surveillance of mobsters to be discontinued.




One single paragraph FBI document, dated April 24, 1991, involving an FBI Special Agent and the Trump Organization, is completely redacted, including the name of the agent.

Another FBI file indicates the bureau conducted a Dun & Bradstreet search on the Trump Construction Company on August 27, 1988. Fred Trump died in 1993. Another FBI file shows the bureau was interested in the Trump Organization in 1986 for being one of the largest donors to the New York mayoral campaign of Democrat Ed Koch.

An index of files the FBI maintained on various individuals, not included as part of the FOIA request on Fred Trump, does contain a file under the name "Tommy Trump." It is not clear who Tommy Trump was or whether he was connected to the Fred Trump family.



While FOIA responses often do not yield much in the way of information, agency responses to such requests contain more valuable information. This appears to be the case with Fred Trump and ties to organized crime. In late 2015 and early 2016, as Donald Trump began to appear as a credible candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, the FBI received a flurry of FOIA requests from a few dozen news organizations requesting FBI files on Fred Trump's, and, by inference, Donald Trump's, links to a number of mobsters and their business entities. Amazingly, some of the Fred Trump-mob indexed cross-references sought by the media were redacted by the FBI. 

Among the mob linkages to Fred Trump were Constantino "Big Paul" Castellano, head of the Gambino crime family and secret owner of S&A Concrete, a defunct New York firm run by Nick Auletta, which built the Trump Plaza and Trump Tower; Anthony "Fat Tony" Salerno, head of the Genovese crime family and secret owner of S&A Concrete, Inc.; Genovese crime family member and FBI informant Peter Savino; Atlantic City/Philadelphia crime boss Nicodemo "Little Nicky" Scarfo [an indication where Donald Trump got the idea for the nicknames "Little Marco Rubio" and "'Liddle' Bob Corker"], owner of the Cleveland Wrecking Company; Wachtel Plumbing; Chief of the New York City District Council of Carpenters Theodore "Teddy" Maritas; The Circle Group, a major Atlanta construction company headed by Long Island reputed mobster Jerry Marchelletta Jr., which built the Atlantis Resort and Casino in the Bahamas and reportedly laundered money through the Gambino-connected Gold Club, a popular Atlanta strip joint; John Cody, the racketeering-convicted president of Teamsters Local 282; Daniel "Danny" Sullivan, a Teamster official and partner in the Scarfo family's New Jersey-based SSG, Inc. and a labor "fixer" for Donald Trump; Kenny Shapiro, an SSG, Inc. partner, scrap metal dealer, and member of the Scarfo crime family; Edward J. "Biff" Halloran, a concrete contractor who owned Certified Concrete Company and the Transit Mix Company; and Michael Matthews, a mayor of Atlantic City.

Two names requested by media organizations from FBI files linked to Fred Trump were redacted in the actual news media request letters released under FOIA. While redactions of private addresses and phone numbers contained in such requests in commonplace and required under the Privacy Act, the redaction of substantive information in FOIA requests is highly suspect [see below].



The same entries were redacted by the FBI in multiple FOIA requests, including May 31, 2016 communications from The BlackVault.com and GovernmentSecrets.com, as well as The Philadelphia Inquirer, CBS News and Cryptome.com; June 1, 2016 communications from Vice News, Judicial Watch, and The Daily Beast; a June 3, 2016 communication from Gizmodo.com and Trump biographer David Cay Johnson; and a July 27, 2016 communication from ABC News. 

Castellano was murdered in a gangland hit in 1985 that was arranged by John Gotti. Salerno died in federal prison in 1992. Nick Aueltta died in 2013. Scarfo [pictured left] died in federal prison, while serving a life term, on January 13 of this year, a week before Donald Trump was sworn in an president. Savino died on September 30, 1997 at the age of 55 of unknown causes while living in an undisclosed location as part of the federal witness protection program. Maritas disappeared in March 1982, a day before he was to go on trial for racketeering, near the Throgs Neck Bridge in New York. Maritas's wallet was found in shallow water and a $100 bill was discovered floating on the water. Federal tax evasion charges were suddenly dropped against Marchelletta in 2012. Cody died in 2001. Sullivan died of a heart attack in 1993 at the age of 54, after he began cooperating with the FBI in a probe of Donald Trump's Atlantic City mob ties. Sullivan also said he knew what happened to the body of former Teamsters president Jimmy Hoffa, but gave no details. Donald Trump revealed that he understood that Sullivan killed Hoffa. Shapiro died in the 1990s with no details available. Halloran disappeared in Manhattan in August 1998 while visiting the city from his home in Fort Lauderdale. Matthews was recalled as Atlantic City mayor in 1984 and later convicted for extortion. Matthews was sentenced to 15 years in prison but was paroled in 1990 and died in 2014.

A high number of mobsters connected to both Fred and Donald Trump have died suspiciously and conveniently. Trump's fear and loathing of the FBI may have something to do with what the bureau has amassed in its files over the years. The FBI searches of its arcane file system may have yielded little in the way of files on the Trumps, but the files on the connections of the Trump family to those investigated by the FBI for mob activities could fill an Olympic-size swimming pool.

Most of what the world knows about Fred Trump, the ethnic German father of President Donald Trump, falls between 1927, when he was arrested at a Ku Klux Klan riot in Queens, in the pre-war 1930s when he built and managed several rental homes around Queens on behalf of his E. Trump & Son real estate development company, and the post-war years, when his Trump Management Company operated several apartment buildings and housing developments. Around New York City, Fred Trump's real estate mini-empire benefited from generous financing from the Federal Housing Administration. However, the years during World War II remain as a sketchy and nebulous gap in Fred Trump's "official" biography.

Fred Trump's FHA-funded apartment complex in Coney Island was so infamous for its policy of refusing to rent to blacks, even black veterans of the war, that Woody Guthrie, who lived in the tenement from 1950 to 1952, wrote a song titled "Old Man Trump." Little did Woody, the father of Arlo Guthrie, know that the son of "Old Man Trump" would not only become president of the United States, but its first openly pro-Nazi president.

Guthrie's song goes as follows:

"I suppose that Old Man Trump knows just how much racial hate
He stirred up in that bloodpot of human hearts
When he drawed that color line
Here at his Beach Haven family project

Beach Haven ain’t my home!
No, I just can’t pay this rent!
My money’s down the drain,
And my soul is badly bent!
Beach Haven is Trump’s Tower
Where no black folks come to roam,
No, no, Old Man Trump!
Old Beach Haven ain’t my home!"

Among the hundreds of Trump real estate holdings Special Counsel Robert Mueller is now investigating is the Beach Haven LLC, the old Coney Island apartment building made infamous by Woody Guthrie.

In 1973, the federal government took Fred and his apprenticeship son Donald to court over their violation of the Fair Housing Act of 1968. It was the Richard Nixon administration that took the Trumps to court. The suit was settled in 1975 with no admission of guilt by the Trumps. That stance was courtesy of Donald's new mentor, the Joe McCarthy Red-baiting counsel Roy Cohn, a vicious self-hating Jew and a self-loathing homosexual. Cohn convinced Donald Trump to counter-sue the Nixon administration. The attempt failed but Trump learned that Cohn's advice to sue anyone at the drop of a hat would serve him well in the future.

Based on the fascination of his son, Donald Trump, with a book of Adolf Hitler's collected speeches, "My New Order," which Trump's first wife Ivana claimed he kept on the nightstand next to his bed, questions certainly arise about Fred's actual loyalties during the war against Nazi Germany. Although Fred's parents were German immigrants and Fred was conceived in the "Fatherland," Fred lied about his German roots during and after World War II. Why? Was he covering up a deep secret from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which was always on the lookout for German sleeper agents during the war? Fred Trump's KKK activities in Queens during the late 1920s, while Hitler's nascent Nazi Party was becoming a political force to be reckoned with in Germany, are suspicious. The same New York Times article that described Fred Trump's arrest in 1927 also describes fascist parade activity in The Bronx.

Trump's far-right political activities would have melded in well with the birth of the America First movement in the 1930s. Led by aviator pioneer Charles Lindbergh, whose Republican Congressman father was actually from Sweden but opposed America's entry into World War I against Germany, the America First movement was jam packed with Nazi members of the Friends of New Germany, formed in 1933 on the orders of Deputy Fuhrer Rudolf Hess. Perhaps not coincidentally, "America First" was the rallying cry of the Trump presidential campaign from 2015 to 2016. The tenets of Lindbergh's America First and Trump's version of it are practically identical. Both relied on boosting white European racial identity at the expense of minorities.


Nazi sympathizers were concentrated in the Philadelphia area, including Chester, where Fred Trump was building barracks for the U.S. Navy within sight of departing troop transports

In 1936, the German Nazi government authorized the creation of a successor to the Friends of New Germany, the German-American Bund, which maintained its headquarters in Manhattan. The Friends and the Bund helped many legal and illegal German immigrants with Nazi sympathies to enter the United States. Bund leader Fritz Kuhn, himself had emigrated from Germany in 1934. Like Kuhn, these Friends and Bund immigrants were all loyal to Adolf Hitler and had Germany defeated the United States, these Germans would have been appointed by Berlin as the Nazi leaders of the German American States. After being caught embezzling funds from the Bund, Kuhn was replaced by Gerhard Kunze in 1939. A few weeks prior to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Kunze fled to Mexico and the protection of the Germany embassy in Mexico City. Kuhn spent the war years in Sing Sing prison in New York and an internment camp in Crystal City, Texas. After the war he was deported to Germany, where he died in 1951.

Around 1937, Fred Trump's pals in the Klan joined with the Bund and the Nazi Silver Shirts and Black Legion to form the Storm Troops. This early "United the Right" movement received heavy corporate funding. By 1937, Fred Trump was making handsome profits as a notorious Queens slum lord. Did any of those profits end up in the coffers of either the Bund or Storm Troops? The families of past U.S. presidents had every aspect of their histories examined in great detail, although some quite belatedly. In Trump's case, there has been no meaningful effort to delve into Fred Trump's background in the interwar years.

There were so many pro-Nazis, including a number of ethnic Germans, in the New York-New Jersey-Philadelphia corridor, that the German airship Hindenburg made it a point to fly over a number of cities and towns with high German concentrations as a propaganda display. These included, in addition to New York and Philadelphia, Paterson, Newark, Elizabeth, New Brunswick, Princeton, Trenton, and Camden, New Jersey. The Hindenburg eventually exploded while mooring at Lakehurst, New Jersey on October 9, 1936. There is a belief that the airship fell victim to anti-Nazi saboteurs. Perhaps Donald Trump should be asked what his father told him about the fly-by of the Hindenburg over New York City and whether it triggered any pro-Nazi comments from the one-time Klan supporter.

All we are officially told about Fred Trump's activities during the war years is that he "built barracks and garden apartments" for the U.S. Navy near the major troop embarkation ports of Chester, Pennsylvania and Newport News and Norfolk, Virginia. Fred would have been in a prime position to conduct "troop counting" on the numbers of newly-trained recruits from Fort Dix and Camp Shanks, New Jersey and Fort Indiantown Gap and Camp Reynolds, Pennsylvania who were shipping out from Chester and recruits from Fort Eustis, Fort A. P. Hill, Camp Pickett, and Fort Lee, Virginia shipping out from Norfolk and Newport News to Europe. For someone like Fred, whose far-right political activities as a first generation German immigrant must have been well-known and a godsend to the Bund and Nazi Germany's Abwehr military intelligence and Gestapo, having a vantage point so close to Chester, Norfolk, and Newport News and so close to monitor the outbound and inbound shipping lanes for Philadelphia; Camden, New Jersey; and Baltimore would have been a double bonus.

One Bund member, a German immigrant named Waldemar Othmer, infiltrated the U.S. military as a civilian employee and dutifully sent via microfilm information to his Abwehr handlers in Berlin on the movements of British and American military vessels, convoys, and merchant ships out of Brooklyn and Norfolk. Sinking American ships was a high priority for German naval commander Admiral Karl Donitz, who dubbed the program Operation Paukenschlag or Drumbeat.

Another German immigrant spy, Hermann Lang, worked as a draftsman for the Carl L. Norden Corporation in New York City. Lang stole plans for the top secret Norden bomb sight and before the end of 1938, the Luftwaffe produced one of similar design. Gustav Guellich, who arrived in the U.S. in 1932, began working as a metallurgist at the Federal Shipbuilding Company in Kearney, NJ. Guellich provided the Nazis in Berlin with classified information on the Navy's new guns and shells and blueprints for naval destroyers. Most of the Nazi espionage efforts before and during the war were directed by master spies Frederick “Fritz” Duquesne, an Afrikaaner immigrant from South Africa, and Willliam Sebold, a naturalized German immigrant. Their spy headquarters was located at 120 Wall Street in lower Manhattan.

In the days before and after the attack on Pearl Harbor and Germany's declaration of war on the United States, FBI agents swooped in on German-American spies, especially in the New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Delmarva, and New York regions. There were four Bund camps located within a 15-minute drive from the Delaware River Bridge connecting Camden in south Jersey to Philadelphia. In Maple Shade, a suburban community on the railroad line used by troop trains from Fort Dix to the Delaware River, a husband and wife bakery was discovered to have had a radio set in the basement. The kindly German couple were sending coded messages to U-boats off the East Coast containing counts of troop trains heading to Camden, Philadelphia, and Chester for embarkation across the Atlantic. The Trump properties in Brooklyn and Queens would have visual vectors on the Brooklyn Naval shipyard.

One horrific event was etched in the memories of every American, the February 3, 1943, sinking by U-223 of the USS Dorchester, a converted passenger-cargo ship in the icy waters of the North Atlantic. Of the 902 officers, GIs, and civilians on board, 675 died. When rescue ships reached the area, hundreds of passengers were found dead, still floating in their life jackets and all victims of hypothermia. Four chaplains gave their life vests to other servicemen and went down with the Dorchester. "The Immortal Chaplains" -- Rev. George L. Fox, a Methodist Minister; Rev. Clark V. Poling, a Dutch Reformed Minister; Father. John P. Washington, a Catholic Priest; and Rabbi Alexander D. Goode -- continue to this day to be honored as heroes.

FBI rounded up many Nazi agents in the Philly area

The U.S. Coast Guard was on patrol at the entrances to the Hudson, Delaware, and Chesapeake Bays and under orders to drop depth charges on any suspected U-boats. On several occasions, after a depth charge volley, Coast Guard personnel spotted oil slicks, air bubbles, and even clothing and bedding bobbing up to the ocean surface.

The Nazi spy threat in the mid-Atlantic region was real. German immigrant and Lutheran pastor Rev. Carl Emil Ludwig Krepper, who served congregations in Philadelphia and Williamstown and Newark, New Jersey, resigned from the church. Later, he joined a Nazi sabotage group ordered by Berlin to carry out Operation Pastorius, which included blowing up a cryolite metals plant in Philadelphia, the Horseshoe Curve railroad pass near Altoona, and Pennsylvania Station in Newark. There were so many non-Jewish German immigrants to the United States who sided with the Nazis, Fred Trump's own murky history during the 1930s and 40s should be examined through a powerful lens.

Unlike Donald Trump, who has trouble talking about what his father did during the war against Nazism and fascism, the story about the German bakery in Maple Shade was described to me many times by my late mother. By refusing an invitation to attend the May 9 celebration marking the victory of the Allies, and specifically, the Soviet Red Army, over Nazi Germany -- what the Russians call the Great Patriotic War -- President Obama has made common cause with neo-Nazis and Axis revanchists from Kiev and Berlin to Tallinn and Warsaw who are attempting to erase the USSR and its immense sacrifices in the war against fascism from the history books and various 70th anniversary commemorations of the war's milestones.

The George Soros and neo-conservative snubbing of Russia in commemorating World War II began with the Polish foreign ministry's refusal to invite Russian President Vladimir Putin to mark the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp from the Nazis. Although it was the Soviet Red Army that liberated the death camp, Poland not only decided to snub Putin but it invited Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, who has a number of neo-Nazis serving in his country's government, armed forces, and intelligence services, to the Auschwitz ceremony. A number of Ukrainians were allied with the Nazi SS in fighting against the Red Army. Their sons and grandsons, known as "Banderists" for Ukrainian Nazi leader Stepan Bandera, now rally around the Ukrainian nationalist and fascist cause in support of Ukraine's genocidal war against Russian-speaking Ukrainians in the Donbass region.

Polish foreign minister Grzegorz Schetyna attempted to re-write history by claiming Ukrainians, not Russians, liberated Auschwitz. Russia's Foreign Ministry responded to Schetyna by stating, "It's common knowledge that Auschwitz was liberated by the Red Army, in which all nationalities heroically served," adding that Poland was making a "mockery" of history.

Putin has said that there is a coordinated attempt by the West to belittle Russia's role in World War II. The latest attempt to diminish Russia's sacrifices in World War II have come with the announcement by many Western leaders that they will boycott the 70th Moscow anniversary commemoration of the end of the Great Patriotic War. Critics of the decision of the Western leaders to boycott the Victory Day ceremony note that by their actions Obama, Britain's David Cameron, France's Francois Hollande, Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski, Israeli President Reuven Rivlin, Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili, and others are trying to negate the deaths of 27 million Soviet citizens who died during the Second World War.

Donald Tusk, the President of the European Council and an ardent Polish nationalist and anti-Russian, announced that he would not be representing the European Union at the Moscow ceremony. Poland is hoping to lure those leaders boycotting Moscow to its own ceremony marking the end of World War II.

While Obama and his friends in NATO will not be in Moscow, Greece's Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, who has demanded war reparations from Germany for his country, will buck the NATO boycott and attend the ceremony on Red Square. He will be joined by North Korea's Kim Jong Un in his first trip outside of North Korea since assuming power. Kim's grandfather, Kim Il Sung, was a Communist partisan leader against the Japanese occupiers in Korea.

Another NATO leader who will bolt from the Western military bloc and go to Moscow is Milos Zeman, the Czech president. Right-wing members of the Czech Civic Democrats Party are attempting to deny financing of Zeman's trip to Moscow. Zeman, if he does make it to Moscow, will reportedly be joined by Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. Slovakia is also a member of NATO. Slovakia's President Andrej Kiska, who has links to the Church of Scientology, refused Russia's invitation to attend the Victory Day event. Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades will buck the wishes of other European Union leaders and be in Moscow.

Also joining other leaders in Moscow who are ignoring the West's boycott of the May 9 event are Chinese President Xi Jinping, Indian President Shri Pranab Mukherjee, South African President Jacob Zuma, Cuban President Raul Castro, Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang, Serbian PresidentTomislav Nikolic, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliev, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, Kazakshtan President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Armenian President Serzh Sarsyan, Tajikistan PresidentEmomalii Rahmon, and Kyrgyzstan President Almazbek Atambaev.

There are also high-level government delegations expected in Moscow from the Netherlands, which is surprising considering the fact that Malaysian Airlines flight 17 departed from Amsterdam before it was shot down over eastern Ukraine. Although the Ukrainian regime has tried to lay blame for the shoot down on Russian-backed separatists, there has been no final conclusion as to the perpetrators. However, given reports from the Netherlands that crash investigators believe that the plane was shot down by air-to-air gunfire from Ukrainian air force warplanes, the presence of a Dutch delegation in Moscow implies that the Netherlands authorities may be aware of Kiev's culpability in the attack.
In what can only be considered a diplomatic slap at the Kiev regime and its Western supporters, the leaders of the self-declared people's republics of Donetsk and Lugansk in eastern Ukraine will be in the same Red Square viewing stand as the leaders from 30 other countries, including China, India, and South Africa, a fact that will confer a semblance of de facto international recognition of their status. In addition, the leaders of the republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia will also be present, constituting a diplomatic defeat for the authorities in Georgia who view the republics as integral parts of their state.
 
Kiev authorities, supported by ex-U.S. ambassadors, push for their own May 9 ceremony rivaling that planned in Moscow to celebrate victory over Nazism. Park Geun-hye and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to refuse Moscow's invitation to the participate in the May 9 event. Venezuela, Brazil, and Nicaragua are expected to send high-level delegations to Moscow.

The leaders of the Baltic nations, where there have been recent ceremonies honoring the military veterans of their nations who fought alongside Adolf Hitler's troops, will not be in Moscow.

The leaders gathered in Moscow will witness troops from at least 10 nations marching alongside their Russian counterparts. Some Russian troops will be clad in the World War II uniforms of the Soviet Red Army. German Chancellor Angela Merkel announced that she will skip the May 9 ceremony in Moscow but show up the following day, likely to apply further pressure on Putin over the Ukraine situation. Three former U.S. ambassadors to Ukraine, John Herbst, Steven Pifer, and William Taylor, have called on world leaders to attend a Victory Day ceremony in Kiev and not Moscow. Such a move would be awkward considering the number of neo-Nazis embedded in Ukrainian military, police, and militia units.

In a repeat of the Central Intelligence Agency's globe hopping weapons transport cargo planes of the Iran-Contra scandal and the more recent Libyan rebel supply caper to overthrow Muammar Qaddafi, a Ukrainian Antonov AN-124 (tail number UR-82072) heavy lifter military transport plane, denoted as an "International Cargo Transport" and belonging to the "Antonov Transport Bureau," astonished residents around Belgrade's Nikola Tesla International Airport in Serbia when it landed there on January 28, 2015. The Ukrainian plane, the world's largest aircraft, was a rare sight at an airport in a country that generally supports Russia in its conflict with Kiev.

In September of last year, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that a number of NATO countries have agreed to deliver weapons to Ukrainian forces, which consist not only of regular Ukrainian troops but irregular battalions supported by billionaire Ukrainian-Israeli warlord Ihor Kolomoisky consisting of neo-Nazis, U.S. and other private military forces, and ex-Israel Defense Force personnel. At the time of the September 2014 NATO summit in Wales, Ukrainian presidential adviser Yuri Lutsenko said that the United States, France, Poland, Norway and Italy had agreed to supply weapons to Ukraine and Canada later revealed that it had also commenced weapons transfers to the Kiev putschist regime.

Ukraine's military forces have received so much NATO military aid and assistance and personnel, Russian President Vladimir Putin recently said that the Ukrainian Army is acting as NATO's "foreign legion." There are also credible reports that NATO has supplied the Kiev regime with deadly cluster bombs that are being used against the largely Russian-speaking civilian population of the Donbass region of eastern Ukraine.

The AN-124 that landed in Belgrade appears to have been ferrying weapons from a number of known NATO air terminals used for such purposes. After arriving in Bucharest, Romania on January 23, 2015 from the Italian island of Lampedusa, off the coast of Libya, the aircraft departed on January 23 for New Jersey in the United States. Lampedusa was a major staging base for NATO weapons supplies to Libyan rebels during the Western- and Islamist-inspired rebellion against the Qaddafi government. Bucharest has become a major base for NATO military support to Kiev.

On January 25, the Antonov departed Newark Liberty International Airport, New Jersey for Trondheim, Norway. On January 26, the Ukrainian transport plane left Trondheim for Prestwick Airport, Glasgow, Scotland. The plane departed Prestwick on January 28 and touched down the same day at Belgrade. Prestwick was a favorite transit hub used by the CIA for the rendition of detainees following 9/11.

The United States has positioned six storage units located in the mountains of Norway’s central Trøndelag region, the capital of which is Trondheim. U.S. military equipment, including tanks and armored personnel vehicles, are stored at two Norwegian Air Force stations in the area, one of them being co-located with Trondheim Airport Værnes where the Ukrainian Antonov landed on January 26.

The Antonov's destination after it left Belgrade was Mombasa, Kenya via Athens. The plane was reported by Serbian sources to be carrying "special cargo" weapons. It is conceivable that UR-82072 dropped off in Athens for further shipment to Ukraine weapons loaded at NATO airports in Lampedusa, Glasgow, and Trondheim, as well as Serbian caches placed on board in Belgrade and, perhaps, U.S. weapons stored at Picatinny Arsenal in Morris County, New Jersey, the Defense Department's Specialty Site for Guns and Ammunition, and Naval Weapons Station Earle, New Jersey. Both weapons bases are in close proximity to Newark Liberty International. The AN-124 is permanently based at Kiev's Gostomel Airport.

Ever since fighting broke out between Ukrainian forces and Russian-speaking separatists in eastern Ukraine, the mysterious Ukrainian AN-124 has been spotted around the world, likely picking up weapons. On June 18, 2014, it was seen at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport. Before that, it was seen on May 22, 2014 at Las Palmas, Canary Islands, in what may have been a refueling stop. On January 1 and 6, 2015 and November 23, 2014, it was spotted at Leipzig/Halle Airport in Germany; on July 2, 2014, it was Luqa International in Malta (Malta was another staging base for weapons supplies to anti-Qaddafi forces during the Libyan civil war); and on April 15, 2014 at Francisco Sa Carneiro Aiport, Porto, Portugal and a week later, on April 27, at Schwechat Airport in Vienna.

The CIA archives contain an obscure newspaper article from the New York Herald Tribune, dated September 14, 1964 that points out that neo-Nazism and anti-Semitism ran rampant in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev even during the time of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. This fact makes the current love affair between neoconservative Zionists like Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt, and incoming Central Intelligence Agency director David Cohen and the neo-Nazi imbued government of Ukraine all the more perplexing.

The neo-Nazism of the Ukrainian government was recently on full display when Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, known affectionately as "Yats" by Nuland, described the Soviet Red Army's move into Nazi Germany not as a "liberation" but as an "invasion." Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko recently awarded one of Ukraine's top medals to Belarusian Serhiy Korotkykh, a member of the far-right Russian National Unity party and founding member of the neo-Nazi National Socialist Society (NSS) in Russia. Korotokykh has recently been engaged in a pogrom of ethnic Russians in eastern Ukraine as a member of the Azov Battalion, the Ukrainian neo-Nazi paramilitary unit financed and armed by Ukrainian-Israeli Zionist billionaire tycoon Ihor Kolomoisky.

The head of the Azov Battalion is Andriy Biletsky, a neo-Nazi activist who has switched his allegiance between the two main neo-Nazi parties, Svoboda and Right Sector. The alliance between Zionists like Kolomoisky and neo-Nazis like Biletsky must be viewed in the context of Ukrainian history where even Ukrainian Communist leaders during the Soviet Union expressed neo-Nazi sympathies in direct challenges to Moscow's wishes.

The Herald Tribune article describes the Ideological Commission of the Soviet Communist Party and Communist Party General Secretary Nikita Khrushchev as being furious over the 1963 publication by the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences of an anti-Semitic publication, complete with Nazi-like caricatures, titled "Judaism Without Embellishment." That publication was followed in 1964 by another book published by the State Publishing House of the Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic in Kishniev titled "Contemporary Judaism and Zionism," which expressed similar Nazi-like views to the Ukrainian book but without the Nazi cartoons.

Today, the ideological sons and daughters of the crypto-Nazis who proclaimed they were Ukrainian Communists are in power in Kiev. Their major support comes from neoconservatives like Nuland, Pyatt, and B'nai B'rith. In 1964, the latter organization rented a room in the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York where B'nai B'rith president Label A. Katz condemned the Nazi-like policies of the Ukrainian Communist Party which his successors actively support today in pro-Western Ukraine.

It is not the Russian government that should stand accused before the international court of public opinion but the neo-Nazis of Kiev and their Zionist Jewish enablers in New York and Washington, DC.

Imagine if one of the three major TV news networks in the early 1960s interviewed a physician offspring of Nazi doctor Josef Mengele on his or her work to eradicate polio. On October 16, CNN interviewed Harvard geneticist and Ebola species hopping expert Dr. Pardis Sabeti, the daughter of the chief Iranian SAVAK torturer and Mossad operative Parviz (Peter) Sabeti, on whose corporate board she serves as a member.

Normally, the sins of the father should not be automatically visited upon his offspring, however, in Dr. Sabeti's case, her association with her father's firm, Paris Enterprises of Orlando, which operates out of a post office box and two private residences, raises suspicions. Parviz Sabeti, the former head of SAVAK's Department III, is wanted in Iran for his executions and torture of detainees during the regime of Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi. What sort of odd interpretation of the Hippocratic Oath would result in Harvard's top Ebola expert having any form of business association with a documented torturer and executioner?

Dr. Sabeti has been in charge of teams sent to West Africa which have determined that Ebola has undergone 300 mutations in a short period of time. Sabeti told CNN that "it's frightening to look at how much this virus mutated within just three weeks." The Ebola-ravaged countries of Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea have served as major nexuses for her father's friends at Mossad who have transferred weapons and mercenaries to the countries to foment civil wars and military coups all in the interest of securing Israeli access to the nations' natural resources of diamonds, gold, and other precious metals.

Dr. Sabeti predicts that Ebola could infect as many as 1.4 million people in Liberia and Sierra Leone by the end of January 2015. Such a deadly pandemic would severely impact the ability of both countries to secure their natural resources from unscrupulous vultures from Israel and the Hasidic-run diamond centers of Amsterdam and Antwerp.

CNN identified Dr. Sabeti as an associate professor at Harvard and a senior associate member of the Broad Institute, which is a joint activity of Harvard and MIT. The Broad Institute was founded by Eli Broad, chairman of the mutual fund firm SunAmerica and KB Home. Former IBM chairman Lou Gerstner, AmGen and Regulus Big Pharma board member Dr. David Baltimore, and Google chairman Eric Schmidt serve on the Broad Institute's board of directors.

Dr. Sabeti is also the lead singer with the alternative-rock band "Thousand Days." Sabeti and other nurses from West Africa have been singing at Harvard about Ebola, billed as a tribute to those who have died from the virus.

Dr. Sabeti's expertise is in mapping the genetic evolution of diseases such as Ebola from animals to humans.WMR has, in the past, reported on academic research that borders on malfeasance, such as the successful recombination of DNA from the deadly 1918 Spanish flu from a corpse of an Inuit girl in Alaska to form the H1N1 influenza virus that killed a number of people worldwide in 2009. That research involved U.S. government grants to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as dubious research conducted at the Army's dangerous Level 4 "bug lab" at Fort Detrick, Maryland, the U.S. National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, and the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta. The chief promoter of resurrecting the Spanish flu, which killed 50 million people worldwide between 1918 and 1919, is Dr. Yoshihiro Kawaoka.Like Kawaoke, Dr. Sabeti has had a deep interest in the mutation of viruses and species hopping, especially from animals to humans. Critics have suggested that such research borders on biological weapons development, which is banned in the United States, Britain, and Russia by a 1972 international treaty. Of course, such treaties did not prevent Parviz Sabeti from subjecting his detainees at SAVAK's prison to certain "medical experiments," all overseen by Central Intelligence Agency and Mossad liaison officers.The actors and circumstances surrounding Ebola research in the United States appear to be no less suspicious than those involved with similar research on H1N1 and other deadly pathogens.

Meet Parviz Sabeti, aka Peter Sabeti, a one-time director of Department III of the feared Iranian secret service, known as the Sazeman-e Attela'at Va Amniat-e Keshvar (Organization for the information and protection of the country) or simply, SAVAK. Acting as the Shah of Iran's eyes and ears in Iran, SAVAK agents received training from Central Intelligence Agency, British MI-6, and Israel's Mossad in all forms of intelligence tradecraft, including electronic snooping, counter-intelligence, and Sabeti's chief specialty, torture.

As can be seen from his last name, Sabeti is an Iranian Jew ("Sabeti" is derived from the Sabbatean crypto Jews of the Ottoman Empire who are also known by the Turkish name "Dönmeh") who not only served as the chief interrogator for the Shah in Tehran's infamous circular Ebrat prison, built by Germany's Nazi government in 1937, but was also on the payroll of the Mossad and CIA.

After a career of arresting and torturing loyalists of former Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadeq, ousted in the CIA's 1953 Operation Ajax coup, in 1978 Sabeti turned his attention to a restive group of Shi'a Muslim clerics who were rising in opposition to the Shah's increasingly dictatorial regime. The Shah ordered Sabeti to arrest and bring into Ebrat for "questioning" several hundred followers of the Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, himself exiled in Paris. Among those arrested were Ali Hosseini Khamenei, the present Supreme Ayatollah of Iran. Although Khamenei was imprisoned at Ebrat and not tortured, according to officials of the current Ebrat museum, the same cannot be said for hundreds of others brought to Ebrat by Sabeti's men. Many detainees were beaten on their feet, faces, and torsos, subjected to pins being forced into the quick of their fingernails and having their nails pulled out, repeatedly dunked into the prison's central water fountain, hanged upside down and beaten, forced into often heart attack-inducing stress positions, subjected to cigarette and lighter burns, and subjected to electric shocks to their fingers, toes, nipples, and testicles. The machine used for the electric shocks was the "Apollo," a black metal chair with a black metal hood used for head shocks that was manufactured in and exported to Iran by Israel.

Sabeti is much worse than any low-level Nazi concentration camp guard ever deported from the United States. So, why is Sabeti still in the United States and not in Iran to stand trial for crimes against humanity?

Sabeti fled Iran after the Islamic revolution in 1979 and found sanctuary first in Israel where he became an officer of Mossad, and eventually, in Florida. Today, Sabeti lives in Orlando where he owns a building and development company called Paris Enterprises, Inc., which operates out of Post Office Box 536401 in Orlando with a principal address of 401 East Robinson Street, Unit 505, Orlando. According to Florida Secretary of State records, the registered agent for Paris Enterprises is Frank M. Townsend, Esq. of 520 W. Emmett Street, Kissimmee, FL 32741.

Among Paris Enterprises's officers is Pardis Sabeti, Parviz's daughter who is also an evolutionary geneticist at Harvard University specializing in the human genome, specifically, the migration of the Ebola virus from an animal genetic reservoir into humans. Another daughter, Parisa Sabeti has served as a director of the William J. Clinton Foundation. According to The New York Times, in 2009, Parisa married Ted Zagat, the vice president for franchise development and strategic partnerships at the Spanish-language Univision Communications and the son of the founders of Zagat's Survey of restaurants and hotels. The Boca Raton Resort and Club wedding was officiated by Cantor Debbi Ballard. Parisa is also listed as a principal contact, along with her Ebola virus specialist sister, of Paris Enterprises.Nasrin Ghaffarpour, who is also president of Paradise Eighty, Inc. and vice president of Florida Renaissance Corporation is listed as the Vice President of Paris Enterprises with an address of 5391 Vineland Road, Orlando. We will not hold our breath for the Simon Wiesenthal Center or the war criminal trackers of the Department of Justice to pay visits to these addresses.

Update 1x. However, WMR did pay a visit to both corporate addresses and discovered they were private residences.

The case of Sabeti was just one of the items discussed as the recent New Horizons conference in Tehran, at which this editor participated. Neo-con and Zionist organizations and press condemned the conference as a gathering of "anti-Semitic conspiracy theorists" and "holocaust deniers." It would be interesting to hear whether the Anti-Defamation League and its subservient media have ever called for the U.S. to deport Sabeti to Iran to stand trial for crimes against humanity. Or are such deportations by the United States only reserved for those who commit human rights crimes against Jews? Those shofar calls from the Jewish Holocaust industry every time a 90-something Nazi guard commander is discovered somewhere sound like the shrill blaring of hypocrisy.
