BushCo.'s "Believe it, or not!"

When I was a kid, I read a comic strip in the old "Journal American," "Ripley's Believe It, or Not." It was this oddball thing featuring illustrations retelling weird claims, such as "Silas Juker said he found Bigfoot in his bathroom…believe it, or not!" Later, it became a TV show. Today, it’s our government.

Reflecting Ripley’s fantasy stories, the disconnect between reality and the Bush Administration has grown so wide in the last few weeks that it makes the Grand Canyon resemble a gully.
