Estimated 200,000 to 250,000 in DC Rally

I'm sorry about missing Saturday's blog, but I was in DC for the march and rally yesterday (Sept. 24th).
For weeks the DC police have been estimating that 100,000 would show up. Yesterday they announced that 100,000 demonstrators had shown up. Wow, what precision. They must have had a crystal ball.
ANSWER gave a total of 300,000.
I called INDYMEDIA and they basically told me they take a number between the two, plus observations from their people on the ground - and came up with "between 200,000 and 250,000" That sounds about right.
