The 'Myth' of Iraq's Foreign Fighters

As we have all seen and heard in the U.S. media, the resistance in Iraq is relying heavily on the influx of foreign fighters. Now it appears the media spin was all wrong according to a U.S. think tank’s finding. The facts also appear to be that Saudi’s are not the majority of these foreigners either.

It also seems that a greater concern should be the fighters taking their newly learned “skills” and exporting them to their home countries. But Bush continues to say not to worry since we are making progress in Iraq and leaving Iraq now is not an option.

Report by US think tank says only '4 to 10' percent of insurgents are foreigners.
